June Favourites.

Hey there, welcome to a new post on my blog which is going to be my favourites for the month of June. I know just how much my readers love these posts, so I thought I would bring them back and do them monthly, which I know I’ve been slacking on more recently. This month I’ve been able to try out quite a few new products, most of which you will read about this month, but some I will probably mention next month because I’m still trying them out. Anyway. without any further rambling, let’s see what I’ve been loving this month.

First up is Benefit Gimmie Brow, which I’ve had in my ‘new in’ draw for about 6 months now and I thought it was time I finally started to use it. I started using this just over a month or so ago now and it’s been my go-to brow product. Since I ran out of my Chelle Brow Pomade, which was my ride or die for months and months since I received it in a Glossybox, I felt lost without it because my brows hadn’t been looking as good … obvs this is mainly because I haven’t had them done since February. I use the shade 4 which is the perfect medium to dark brow shade which matches my brows almost perfectly, but still gives them a bit of colour to fill them in and give the illusion of fuller brows. I love just how small the spoolie is, as you can focus it exactly where you need it, instead of getting it all on the skin around the brows. I know Benefit brow products are a little pricey but since picking up the Brow Superstars gift set, they have become my faves … deffo worth splashing the cash for!!

My next two faves sort of come as a duo because I have been using them together. Firstly we have the PMD Clean Facial Cleansing Device, which quickly slotting itself into my everyday, morning and night, skincare routine. It makes skincare quick, easy and hassle free, just pop your cleanser onto the brush head, add water, choose your setting and move in circular motions around your face face. You can check out my full in-depth review here, but it’s my new best friend for clear skin. Psst, there’s an anti-aging setting on it too!! I have been using the PMD Clean with the La Roche-Posay ultra fine Facial Scrub 2-3 times a week. It’s really gentle on the skin, gives the pores a good deep clean and banishes dry skin and blemishes. Throughout lock down my skins been a bit up and down but since using these two products I’ve definitely seen a big difference in how much skin looks and also how it feels.

Due to having very small, hooded eyes with low eyebrows, lashes aren’t really made for me; especially the longer ones. So, I’ve been on the hunt for lashes that work for me by trying out lots of new ones. After trying god knows how many different brands and styles, I think I’ve finally found the ones in Unicorn Cosmetics Apple Sourz. They’re definitely made for small eyes because they fit my eyes perfectly, without having to trim them evenly slightly. They’re really full and fluffy, long enough but not too long and really compliment my eyes, to finish off any look I do. You can see in the picture below just how they look on.

I’ve been wanting to try out some of Fenty Beauty’s products for such a long time, but I’ve always thought they were a little pricey and if I didn’t like what I picked up, it would be a waste of quite a bit of money. But I got a Boots gift voucher for Christmas and thought it was the perfect time to give the brand a try. So, my last favourite for this month is the Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y which is the perfect pinky, nude. I’ve heard Syd and Ell talk about these glosses for a while and they absolutely rave about them and as I’ve tried other things because of them and they’ve been spot on, it was about time to try another one of their recommendations. This gloss is really creamy, without that sticky feeling that some glosses has, it actually last on the lips and doesn’t need reapplying every 5 minutes and lots of lip liners compliment it this colour; whether it’s nude, pink or brown I just know they would look great together. Deffo worth spending that little bit more on it.
