October Glossybox Unboxing. | Blogtober

A couple of days ago I woke up to that exciting ‘your Glossybox has been delivered’ notification and I went straight downstairs to get my parcel off the doorstep ready to open it up and see what selection of products that I received this time. After deciding against writing my Glossybox unboxing got September due to being snowed under with Blogtober planning, I was so excited to get back into it and share this months Midnight Fantasy box with you all. And *spoiler alert* it has to be one of my favourite boxes ever.

Although Glossybox is know for their iconic pink boxes, every so often they have a themed box with different designs on the them. Just like last October they have two boxes this month and you get one sent at random. The themes are Enchanted Spirit or Midnight FantasyThe Beauty Tales with products to enhance your natural beauty. As you can see I received the Midnight Fantasy box, which I was hoping I would get; I loved this box, the theme and the contents inside to so let’s see what 5 products made the cut this month.

The Beauty Crop Stargazing Blush Duo – Full Size:

I always know it’s going to be a good box when I see a product from The Beauty Crop sitting on the top before diving into see the rest of the products. This time it was the Stargazing Blush Duo which has two shimmer blushes, one more bronzey and one more pinky. If you know me you’ll know that shimmery blushes are my thing, usually I go for more pinky blushes for the summer but, as we’re into the colder months, I can myself getting some use out of the darker one.

Luna by Luna Lipstick – Full Size:

Next up is one of the products I was most excited about when I saw it and its the Luna by Luna Lipstick in the shade Pixie. I know I have way to many lipsticks in my collection but let’s be honest, you can never have too many really can you? It’s a stunning pinky nude with a creamy finish.

Bubble T Star Dust Foaming Bath Powder:

One of these bath powders came in a box a while back and I remember really liking the smell, how hydrated it make my skin feel and how relaxing it is to add some of this into a nice hot bath; meaning I was pleased to receive another one. This time they sent the Rose scent which was made exclusively for this months box and the scent is really strong I can smell it through the packaging and I’m excited to give it a try.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer – Deluxe Sample:

I have only tried one product from Illamasqua before and that’s one of their powder highlights, but it’s one of those high end, luxury products that always makes me makeup look great. I never really thought about trying many of their other products, certainly not one of their primers and I’m really excited to see if it’s as good as I think the highlight is. It’s described as hydrating, cooling and plumping, has lots of great reviews; it sounds right up my street. I’m sure you’ll be hearing all about it at some point if I like it as much as I think I’m going to.

AHC Essential Real Eye Cream for Face – Deluxe Sample:

The last product this month is the AHC Essential Real Eye Cream for face. I hadn’t actually seen an eye cream for the face before this but it’s actually such a great idea; if you’re not into a faffy skincare routine, you have’t got the time or you don’t like using lots of products on your face, you’re all done with just one product. It’s also really good for travelling as well so I’m definitely going to save it for when we can actually get on a plane again… hopefully soon!

To finish off this months box they add mini bar of chocolate. I always love it when they pop a little treat into the box as in the past I’ve had tea’s, hot chocolates, chocolate bars and this month there was a little mini Cadbury Dark Milk Bar in there; in my opinion that instantly levels up any box up.

So those were the contents of the October 2020 box and I can say that I’m very pleased with each and every product. It has a number of new brands and products I haven’t tried before and they’re all products that I will actually use. I really hope you enjoyed having a peak into this months Glossybox. Did you get this month box? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below and I’ll see you tomorrow with a new post.
