GET THE ULTIMATE SUMMER GLOW WITH 5 PRODUCTS.

Hey there and welcome back to a new post on my blog or if you’ve come over from Lauren’s Blog, hey lovely to meet you, I hope you like my work!! Today’s post is a collaboration with Lauren from Wool of the King and we will both be sharing our glowy, summer makeup looks to show you how we get the ultimate bronzey glow all season without fail. So … let’s see how I achieve the ultimate glow for the summer season.

First up is the Figs & Rouge Charm Elixir which is a serum type product that Glows, Revitalises, Smooths and Hydrates the skin with as little as one drop. It does say that it should be applied after your cleanser, as part of you skincare routine, but I like the use it as a primer as it gives me the perfect glowy, hydrated base before makeup application. It’s a really nice pale pinky colour, as it’s enhanced with rose water and Rose Quartz, but you don’t really notice the colour to much, it’s more the ‘Au-Natural’ brightening, dewy glow.

For me, during the summer a CC cream is the way forward because when it’s really warm I don’t want to be wearing a full face of makeup and sweating it off and a CC cream gives a little bit of colour and coverage, but blends in more like a tinted moisturiser. The one I’ve been using is the Revolution Pro CC Cream Perfecting Foundation SPF30, which has light but buildable coverage, gives a natural, glowy finish and keeps your skin protected at the same time. One thing that I particularly love about this product is that it’s ingredients contain Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen so it treats the skin whilst you’re wearing it.

Next up we have the Makeup Obsession Isn’t It Peachy Blush Palette which comes with 4 warm tones blushes. In the picture above the two centre pans look much more bronzey, but they’re more orangey in person. I like to use ‘Hint’ the orange blush on the tops of my cheekbones above my bronzer and where I’ll put my highlighter over the top as it gives me such a warm, bronzey glow. ‘Glimmer’ (far left) gives me naked blush vibes as it’s a pale pink with darker pink running through and it has a slight shimmer through it, so on days I’m not feeling too much makeup and want to skip the highlight, this is the one I go for.

Now, you just can’t miss out the bronzer when it comes to getting that golden, dewy base and the bronzer I’ve been really loving recently is the Revolution Baked Bronzer in Take a Vacation. This is their medium bronze shade which is perfect for my skin tone and because it’s more of a deep tan, rather than orange-y, so it looks a lot more subtle. Being baked, it does have a slight shimmer to it which I absolutely love and it looks beautiful on the skin.

At this point, I might as well have called this post a Revolution brands makeup routine because my next product is the IHeartRevolution banana highlighter. I’ve have been using this for quite a while now and it’s one of my go-to highlighters because I’m always guaranteed to get the ultimate glow. I love the fact I can choose whether I want more of a pinky toned highlight, more of a gold one, more of a yellow one or even a mix of them all. It has a lot of payoff and I find makeup brushes pick up a lot of product easily but don’t hold onto it so you get the full effect of the powder. I like to go over the areas I have placed this with my Beauty Blender to melt it into the skin more and takeaway the powdery finish; a GAME CHANGER I tell you!

So these were the fail safe products that I like to use to give myself the ultimate summer glowy base. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you all enjoyed the read and also thank you to Lauren for collab-ing with me.
