Star Sign Makeup Look Series | Libra #4.

Happy Hump Day and welcome back to a new post on my blog. For today’s post I will be sharing part 4 of my star sign makeup look series and this ones for the sign of Libra. As much as I’ve enjoyed creating the looks for this series so far, I was ready for a bit more colour so I didn’t hold back and may just have created my favourite look of this whole series … or that I’ve ever done. But, how did I create it?

I have found that a lot of the star signs main colours have been green or blue and sometimes even yellow, so to give myself some time to think of more ideas for looks so they’re not all the same, I decided to go for Libra where it says that the related colours include primary colours, shocking pink and night blue. Not only was the shocking pink standing out to me and made me excited to create a look with it, but the related flowers included Pansies and Violets (among many others). This gave me the perfect opportunity to use the Beauty Bay EYN 42 Palette for the 2084958 time this month haha. What can I say, it is my fave!!

I started off by priming the lids with the Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in the shade C5.5 and set that in place with the shadow Nothing Else. I then went straight in with a mix of Stormy Night and Bobbing Along on a small angled blending brush and concentrated it right in the crease, without blending it too much. Just above where I popped that, it used Paradise to make that line less harsh and also above that shade, right under the brow, I took a tiny bit of Hello Sunshine to further blend it out. It was then my favourite part where I get to cut the crease and I took the Revolution Cut Crease Canvas in Halo and cut the whole crease. I only ever really do half cut creases, so I thought I’d switch it up a bit. I then set that with Cosmopolitan and topped it with Custard Cream, which is a very pale yellow and the closest to a shimmer this palette has.  I decided to use Popping Poppy on the lower lash line and further blended it with Hello Sunshine just underneath to tie the whole look together. A looks not complete until I highlight my brow bone and inner corner, so I decided to take my MMMMitchell x Beauty Bay Palette and use Marine which is a while shimmer, but has blue reflects and it’s a really pretty shade. I decided to add a little bit of glitter because obviously this look wasn’t A LOT already so I took the Studio London Silver Glitter Liner and placed that where I’d cut the crease.

I was a little worried about doing a wing just in case I ruined the look, but then I remembered that in last months Glossybox was the Ciate London Stamp & Drag Liner and this created the perfect wing with next to no effort, very impressed. I added my fave Kiss Lashes in Chiffon and added the Benefit They’re Real Mascara to the lower lash line and there’s the look done.

The Final Look:

And there we have today’s look for the sign of Libra, I really hope you enjoyed the read and liked the look I created. I absolutely loved the way this one turned out and I can’t wait to get on with the rest of the signs looks now!!
