Florence by Mills Haul + First Impressions!

I swear Boots are absolutely killing it at the moment with all the new brands they’re additive their stock as they have recently added Morphe, Bh cosmetics and Milani is coming soon as well. When I saw Millie Bobby Browns new range ‘Florence By Mills’ was going to be stocked on the, I was particularly excited because the packaging is really cute AND it’s also really affordable. But what do I actually think about the products then?

So the first item I picked up from this range is the Tint and Tame Brow Gel in the shade Dark Brown. I’ve been in need of a new brow gel for a while now, so I thought I was the perfect time to pick this one up. The spoolie is very small which makes it easy to apply it to the eyebrow without getting any on the skin. I like the fact that it can be used either on its own for more of a natural look but to fix to brows in place and give them a bit of colour. But also as it can be used to set the brows after using another product to fill them in and this would give them a more bold look. I found the dark brown was the perfect cool toned colour, because sometimes brown brow products can have a red undertone which doesn’t always look great against dark hair. This retails at just £14 and you get a decent amount of product (I can’t find the exact measurement on the website) which for a drugstore brand is probably a bit on the more expensive side, but obviously you’re going to be paying for the name a bit. The gel itself is very smooth and not greasy.

Moving on, the next thing I picked up was the Magic Micellar Cleansing Gel which retails at just £10 and you get 100 ml worth of product. To be fair reviewing a micellar cleaner is pretty difficult because it doesn’t really do much like other cleanser do, aside from cleaning the skin. I will however say that after just a few uses, my skin does look more brightened and after using it, my skin does feel squeaky clean and removes every ounce of makeup from my skin without it feeling to harsh on my skin. Last but not least I picked up the Zero Chill Face Mist which cost me £10 and you do get 100 ml of product. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know just how much I love facial sprays, particularly the Mario Badescu ones, so I knew that if I was going to like anything I bought, that it would be this. This smells lovely, it’s really refreshing and has deffo given my skin some much needed TLC.

Overall, I am very happy with the Florence by Mills range because the products (the ones I’ve tried anyway) are very good quality, are well priced and do exactly what you’d want from the product. The packaging is also one factor that entices me into buying and trying out a product and the packaging of these is very cute. I love the lavender and I also love that it’s very simplistic. It does actually remind me of Kylie Skin packaging, but obviously just not pink. I’m deffo going to be trying more bits out from the range and if I like them too, I’m sure you’ll see me mention them in a post at some point.
