The Bedside Table Beauty Edit | Collab.

Hey there, I hope you’re all doing well and welcome to a new post on my blog. Today’s post is quite an exciting one because it’s a collab with Grace from lifeinbloom2@wordpress.com and we will both be sharing the beauty bits that are on our bedside tables. I hope you enjoy the read and don’t forget to check out Grace’s post when you’ve finished.

I absolutely love reading posts like this and about products that people cannot go a day without using. I generally keep only a few products by my bed, but I decided to include a bit of everything that you’d usually see on the table. Most of the time it’s just little samples or travel sizes because they’re perfect for not only trying out but there’s always something I can reach for, even if I can’t be bothered to do my full skincare routine.

I don’t always keep all these products on my bedside table, just the ones I’m using at the time because it’s deffo not always this neat and tidy haha.

To be honest, I don’t use masks half as much as I should do, but I still have these minis from my Birchbox and Christmas advent calendar so I’m trying to use them up. Masks aren’t really something I put on just before bed, unless it’s one you can just blend in like a moisturiser and leave on without causing a mess. However, some evenings I like to have a chill and whilst watching some Netflix or TV I’ll put a mask on. The ones I’ve been trying to use up is the Glam Glow peel off one and a purple clay mask which I always forget the brand of.

I don’t always stick to the same moisturisers and eye creams but recently my fave combo has been the Nivea SPF 15 moisturiser for day use and the Simple skin quench seeping cream for nighttime. And I always pair this with the soap and glory puffy eye attack hydra-gel turbo-Boost eye cream with has been really helping to keep my eye area hydrated.

I get so caught up with caring for the skin on my face, I feel like I neglect my body sometimes, so I’ve decided to pop a body lotion by my bed to remind me and also to give me no excuse not to use it. I’ve been using the Neutrogena Hydra Boost because I absolutely loved the facial moisturiser of this and as this was in the sale at boots for less than £2, I thought I would try it out.

I’ve heard so many good things about castor oil from lots of Bloggers and YouTubers, about how good it is for helping lashes and brow hair grow. As I’ve been trying to grow my brows out, this has been something that I’ve been reaching for, once a day for around two weeks now. I haven’t really noticed much of a difference yet, but I’ll let you all know how I get on after I’ve being using it for a long enough amount of time. I been really liking this lotion actually because it’s really hydrating, very lightweight and soaks into the skin almost instantly.

I always tone/ spritz my face with some sort of facial spray and I’m sure you all know about my love for the Revolution ones and the Mario Badescu ones but recently I’ve been using the Espa Hydrating Spa Fresh and my skin is absolutely loving it. It’s really hydrating and I like to use it after I’ve finished my skincare routine or even after makeup and throughout the day just to give my skin a bit of a refresh.

I also keep some Vaseline here or some form of lip balm because my lips always seem to be a little dry, especially in the colder months. I also found that putting Vaseline on my lips before I go to bed helped it do it’s thing throughout the night and it would still slightly be there in the morning when I went to do my morning skincare routine.

One other thing that I absolutely can’t not have on the table is some sort of makeup remover, just in case I’m half asleep and I don’t want to get up and go over to my dressing table. I usually just reach for wipes because they’re super easy, or just some Micellar water on some cotton pads and job done!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I certainly can’t wait to have a read of Graces one and see what products she uses.
