NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Powder Foundation Review.

Hey there! For today’s post I will be reviewing the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Powder Foundation … I know, me using a powder foundation! Who’d have thought it eh?

I recently had a bit of a splurge on makeup, most of it from NYX and the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop collection really stood out to me and I wanted to try everything. So I picked up the two Foundations, the liquid one and the powder one, and the loose setting powder. I do wanted to do a separate post reviewing the liquid foundation as that’s probably more of a ME product, but let’s see what I thought of the powder one first. I picked up the shade Alabaster which is actually the second lightest shade, but I like my foundations to give me a bit of colour so I went with this one. It’s got just the right undertone for my skin and it matches almost perfectly. I use a smaller brush first to pack on the powder and then I use a kabuki brush to just blend it out seamlessly.

I usually end up an oily, sweaty mess by the end of the day when I wear liquid foundation, particularly in the summer, so a powder foundation should work wonders for my skin. I noticed that it felt a lot lighter on my skin, almost as if I didn’t have anything on it. I did get a couple of compliments about how much skin looked really clear, but they also didn’t know I had any makeup on it.

Powder foundations are particularly good for no makeup, makeup looks because they look super lightweight and give your skin a healthy bit of colour and coverage but don’t make you look cakey. I can’t wait to use this throughout the summer to not only feel less grim and sweaty, oily and not be able to tan through makeup but to also not get the sunglasses spots in your nose. WHAT A DREAM. If I’m looking to do a very full coverage look, then I use this to set my face as well and it’s almost like it gives even more coverage, not only just setting it.

It did cost £15 which I do think is a little more pricey for a drugstore product, but because I’m very happy with the way this foundation works and looks on my skin, I do think it’s worth the money. However, due to the fact I’m not necessarily crazy about powder foundations, I don’t know if I would repurchase.

And there we have it, my thoughts on the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Powder Foundation. Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post and I really hope you enjoyed it!! See you soon.
