My Favourite Autumn Nail Colours! | Blogtober

Hey there and welcome to Blogtober Day 19. I’ve already spoken about my favourite Autumnal lip colours and candles so I thought that for tonight’s post I would share some of my favourite nail polishes for the season. I have rounded up a handful of the ones I have in my collection, however, I have also mentioned the ones I don’t own but love to get when I go and get my nails done.

No7 – Midnight:

First up is the No7 Gel Finish Polish in Midnight. The name basically speaks for itself because it’s an iridescent navy blue. You can get really good coverage with just one coat, it’s durable and has a very shiny gel-like finish. I absolutely love the colour of this as it’s different to anything else I own and it makes a change for me to wear something with lighter reflects init because you won’t catch me wearing glitter until the Christmas season rolls around.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine – Chai:

Autumn doesn’t have to be all about the berries and deep tones as neutrals are very in season too. A good old nude nail is a year round colour but with neutrals come many other shades too including Grey. This Barry M Polish in shade Chai is a gorgeous mid tone grey and it goes with so much. The polish itself has the perfect little brush to make it as easy as possible to do your own nails, even with your weaker hand, and get the best coverage. The Hi-Shine finish leaves it looking like Gel but is so much easier to remove and you don’t need any of the equipment. They also last very well on the nails. I’d definitely look into these if you’re looking for some new polishes; they have a wide range of colours too.

CND Shellac – Femme Fatale:

I’ve recently been doing my own gel nails from home to help me save money on getting my nails done every month so I did order a few different shades to start building up my polish collection and this was one of the ones I picked up. I did want to get polishes I can use throughout Autumn and Winter and this one is called Femme Fatale, which is a stunning dark pink, almost berry red. It’s a bit more of a transitional Summer to Autumn polish for when you still want to hang onto those bright Summery colours for that little bit longer.

CND Shellac – Oxblood:

Oxblood from CND has to be my all time favourite nail colour, particularly for this time of the year, but I’d happily wear it in the height of Summer. I much prefer darker shades during the colder months because I don’t feel like they make me look so pale when I do start to lose my tan and thats another bonus for having this one. Oxblood pretty much lives up to it’s name as it’s a deep burgundy; perfect for Autumn..

CND Shellac – Berry Boudoir:

Moving on the the polishes I don’t have in my collection just yet and the first one is another CND Shellac in Berry Boudoir which is a beautiful dark purple. Berry Boudoir looks brown almost look black in certain lights, but it has a plum tone to it; it’s like it was made for Autumn You’ll be pleased to know all of these CND colours come in regular polish too!

OPI – Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window:

Another stunning neutral colour for the Autumn is OPI’s Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window which is an olive green from the Touring America Collection. This polish has a hi-shine finish, is really durable and doesn’t chip between my nail appointments. I’ve always loved olive greens and Khakis for clothes and accessories but never really thought of wearing it as a nail polish; it’s only really in the last year since I tried Cap and Gown by CND (which is quite similar to this one) that I’ve fell in love with it.

I tried to include lots of different colours in this round up, rather than just the dark and berry tones we’re seeing everywhere right now. What are your favourite Autumnal nail colours? Are you into the dark, berry tones or are you more of a nude, french mani kinda person? I’d love to hear all about them in the comments below. As always, I really hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you again tomorrow with a new one.
