April + May Favourites.

Another month in lock down has come to an end and it’s time I shared a new monthly favourites post with you. I did end up missing out April’s favourites because not much has changed from the March’s. However, this month I have lots of new and exciting products to share with you. Let’s get started then.

First up is the Revolution Skincare Hydration Boost Water Gel Moisturiser. This has been one of my fave moisturisers for a while now, but after not using it for almost a year, I’ve found my love for it again. It’s so hydrating, sinks into the skin almost instantly and works well under makeup. I’m not going to talk too much about skincare in this months favourites because I have recently shared an updated evening skincare routine so if you want to hear about the products I’m currently using, be sure to take a look at that post.

Next up is the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara which I have been absolutely loving for the past few weeks. This really does accentuate the lashes, gives them a nice curl and some length too. I did do a full review on this mascara for my new mini series so be sure to check that out if you want to read all my thoughts.

After doing another lash haul because you can just never have too many lashes, I decided to pick up some of my all time fave lashes and they are the Kiss Lashes in Chiffon. As well as some of my new found faves which are the Unicorn Cosmetics Lashes in Apple Sourz. The kiss lashes are more natural, but long ones and the unicorn lashes are very fluffy, thick ones. I particularly like the UC ones because they fit my eyes really well (without even having to cut them) and for small hooded eyes that’s hard to find.

I decided to pick up the James Charles x Morphe mini eye palette when they were having a sale a couple of months ago and within the last month I’ve been really getting some use out of it. I have been posting eye looks every single evening and many looks have included this palette because it is just so versatile. The shadows are really pigmented, smooth and blend really nicely.

Last but not least is the MUA Pro Base Smooth & Cool Primer Stick. I have been really loving MUA’s primers recently and the Banana Blur is also a favourite of mine. This one is similar to the Revolution Moisturisers because of how lightweight it is and how well it sinks into the skin. As much as I love pore blurring primers, they can sometimes feel quite thick but this one smooths out the skin but feels weightless. It’s also only £5 as well … I can’t recommend it enough !!

Oh me too!! I still haven’t got around to trying the milk cosmetics ones, but I’ve heard the MUA ones are good dupes☺️
