Birchbox Unboxing || February 2019.

 Hey there and welcome back to a new post. It feels like so long since I sat down to write a blog post but I’m so exited to get back into it. For today’s post I will be sharing the February Birchbox and the items that came in it this month. As usual I was very pleasantly surprised with most of the items in the box, so let’s get into it.

Let’s start off with my favourite product that came in this months box, because I don’t think I can save it until last. The first item that I got was the LOC Liquid Shimmer Shadow in the shade Moonlight. As far as I’m aware and can remember, I haven’t actually used one of these before. Whenever I’ve been using a shimmer shadow I’ve always either used a foiled one or used some fix+ to help give the product more pigment. But now I’ve got this I am super excited to have a play with it and try out some glam eye looks.

Next up is the Coco & Eve Like a Virgin Coconut & Fig Hair Masque, which I have used a couple of times now. I run this through my hair after washing it and I leave it in until I next wash it. It doesn’t leave a greasy feel on the hair this way, which I really like but it keeps it feeling really soft. The instructions do say to leave it in for 10 minutes and then wash it out but I don’t know how much this would help compared to the way I do it. It also makes your hairs smell just like coconuts and I love it … it’s just so nice and fresh.

I’m actually so glad I received the next product which is the Luxie 205 tapered blending brush, because I was in desperate need of a new blending brush. This one is so soft a little firm, but also fluffy so this is going to be perfect to blend out my eye makeup. I hadn’t actually heard of this brand prior to receiving it in this months box, but I’m really happy with it. I really recommend it to you all if you’re looking for a new brush.

The Anatomicals ‘no one gets flirty with the dirty’ body cleanser also came in this months box and to be honest it is good, there’s just not too much to say about this one as it’s your standard body wash. The only thing I’m not too buzzed about, is that it doesn’t smell the best and I couldn’t even begin to explain the scent to you but it’s just not great.

Last but not least I got the Pure Grace Nude Rose Perfume and you do get a decent sized bottle which is 15 ml and this a perfect amount to properly test it over a short period of time to see if you actually like it. The scent is really nice and fresh, it’s not necessarily my kind of go to scent, but it could make a good change.

Also can we just talk about how much of a nice added extra these little post cards are!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I hope you enjoyed having a sneak peak into February’s Birchbox and I will see you shortly with a new post.
