Star Sign Makeup Look Series | Aries #1.

Hey there and welcome to a new post on my blog. This feels a little bit strange to be uploading in the morning, I don’t think I’ve ever done this before but I thought it would be a good idea to spread out my uploads to hopefully keep you entertained over the coming weeks. For today’s post, I will be starting a new series where I’ll be sharing makeup looks I’ve created, based on star signs. There will be 12 posts in this series, one for every star sign and I will be starting it off with Aries. I’m sure this has already been done before but I wanted to do something a little bit different and may even include some looks inspired by fellow beauty bloggers / instagrammers etc. I hope you enjoy!!

I was googling the Aries star sign just to find out if there was any colours that are associated with it and it said that Aries colours are Red and White. But that pink, yellow and rust appeal to an Aries person. So I decided to use these colours to create this look and as it’s also a fire sign, I thought we should go bold.

Products I used:

Revolution Dip Brow in Ebony

Beauty Bay EYN Bright Matte Eye Shadow Palette

Revolution Cut Crease Canvas in Halo White

Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Ring The Alarm Palette

NYX Vivid Brights Yellow Liquid Eye Liner

Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Foundation in F2

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Fair Neutral

Revolution Lace Loose Baking Powder

NYX Liquid Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Ruffle Trim

Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Copper

Estate Cosmetics Dew Me Baked Highlighter

Benefit They’re Real! Mascara

Just to talk you through the eye look, I used the EYN Bright Matte Palette with the shades Peachy & Heatwave in crease and Hello Sunshine to blend them out as well as Make Them Wink on the lower lash line. After cutting the crease with my Revolution Cut Crease Canvas, I then took a mix of Lolli & Bombass from the Morphe Ring the Alarm palette for the cut crease and used Mugshot to deepen the crease and outer corner. To finish off I used On Camera to highlight the inner corner and brow bone, added some fluffy lashes from eBay, which I have linked here (3D-52)and added the Aries sign with the NYX Yellow Liquid Liner.

The Look:

P.S. please excuse the eyebrows, for obvious reasons I haven’t been able to get them done this month.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I hope you like the idea of this series I’m doing and liked the look I created. Please keep an eye out for the next part of this series coming after the weekend. Until then, be sure to check out my previous post.
