July Favourites.

Hey there, welcome back to my blog, I hope you’re all well. I guess you could say it’s been a while since I last made a post, well that’s how it feels to me anyway! The last month has been a lot for me as I left my old job, started a new one, did a training week away and then I had my birthday. I just wanted to spend my time getting used to everything, getting into a routine to the find a new schedule for my blog posts and also just enjoying my time with friends and family. BUT I promise I’m getting back on it now!

For today’s post I thought I would share my monthly favourites, well because it’s tradition as it’s the first post of the month … right?! This month has been a good one in terms of trying out new products and I can’t wait to share them with you!

So, I finally caved and decided to try out the Laura Mercier Setting Powder after the crazy amount of hype within the beauty community and all the good things I heard about it. I was always a little put off by the price tag just in case I didn’t like it, it would just be such a waste. I’ve always had such dry skin under my eyes and around my nose and that’s where I would use it to bake, however recently my skin has been more on the oily side so I figured it could work better for me now.

This month I went on an ESPA training course for work, which meant I was able to try out all their products and to be fair, I hadn’t tried any of them in the past, so it was all new to me. After leaving the course I was given a set of ESPA products and have been growing to love them and using them everyday! The set includes the PRO cleanser, the Hydrating Toner, PRO serum and the PRO moisturiser. I’m still in the process of trying them out because I’ve only had them a couple of weeks, but I can already see that my skin has cleared up massively and does feel much softer, more hydrated and less oily.

My last favourite for this month is the Ciate Nail Polish in ‘Knee Highs’. I know it’s not a very summery colour, but navy blue has been on of my go to nail colours at the moment. I’m such a creature of habit and usually just wear black polish, but this works just as well because it’s dark but still goes with almost everything. This polish also has a sheen to it and in some lights even looks purple. I know nail polish on the toes lasts a long time no matter what polish it is, but this one has lasted me over two weeks and hasn’t started to chip yet, I definitely recommend.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoy it. I will now be back every Monday with a new post.
