New In : Drugstore Skincare Haul.

As you can see, I’m still going through this phase of loving skincare and constantly wanted to try new products out. As my skin is starting to clear up, I’m trying to keep it that way by keeping on top of my breakouts and keeping my skin hydrated etc. and I thought I would share these few products that I picked up in Boots and on Beauty Bay!

The first item I picked up is the Neutrogena Visably Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub. I’ve been using Neutrogena cleansers on and off for years now and I really like this Pink Grapefruit one. Over the past few months I’ve been using a scrub every other day and the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel on the days in between but during the autumn/ winter my skin has been getting quite dry so a daily scrub is going to work better for my skin as it’s not as harsh on the skin as the Nip + Fab Glycolic Face Scrub is.

Next up is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, which I’m sure you’ve all heard about as it’s been raved about so much in the Beauty World. Now this is brand new and usually lasts me months, but being as clumsy as I am, I spilt half of it before I even had a chance to use it!! This is probably the only product that I rely on to sort out any breakouts and blemishes, just because I know how well it works and that it wont let me down. This retails at £16, which may seem a little pricey for such a small bottle, but this can last so long as you only need the slightest bit. To use you dip a cotton bud into it and then dot in on your breakouts … obviously the more breakouts you have, the more you will use, but even when my acne was really bad, this bottle would still last me 8-9 months!! They’ve recently changed the bottle from glass to plastic, which I really like as it’s now a lot more travel friendly.

I’m sure you all know about my love for these Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Masks and I decided to try the Sakura one this time, which I haven’t tried before. These are very much the same as the FACEINC sheet masks by NAILSINC but these are just £2.99 with the FACEINC ones being £5. These masks are so hydrating and really almost give the skin a new lease of life. I prefer sheet masks to other types of face masks as they aren’t as messy and they’re super easy to pop on and off whether you’re in a rush or want a relaxing pamper evening. If you haven’t tried these out, I’d deffo recommend you do!!

The last item I picked up is the Garnier Aloe Extract Toner. I’m running out of my Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray and I wanted to try something else out to see if I can find a cheaper alternative. This was just £3.49, compared to the Mario Badescu Facial Sprays which are £7/£11. I have heard really good things about Garnier Toner’s and I really like the Micellar Water so I am really looking forward to trying this out.

And those were the items I picked up in this skincare haul. As always, I really hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you in a few days with a new one!
