The Body Shop Liquid Lipsticks | Review + Swatches!

Hey there and welcome to a new post on my blog. Today I will be sharing a review of The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquids. I’ve definitely tried a fair few liquid lipsticks, especially more recently as they seem to be all the hype at the moment, and I’m not surprised because they’re soo pigmented, they last all day and it doesn’t feel like you’ve got anything on your lips … I’m literately obsessed, so I was intrigued to see what I would think of these.

I recently came across The Body Shop’s new Liquid Lipsticks when shopping on their site and they were described as  ‘long-lasting, lightweight and lusciously soft‘ and they’re also cruelty-free, so I just had to give them a try!

These lipsticks are probably one of my favourite formulas out there as they’re so comfortable, they aren’t drying on the lips at all and they’re everything they claimed to be, long-lasting, lightweight and soft. I would say that these are more of a velvety formula because they’re still very creamy, even when dried down and they’re very comparable to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. They’re also really pigmented, as you can see from the swatches, and they smell amazing … I think it’s like a floral scent, seeing as they’re all named after flowers, but I just can’t describe it! I would really recommend these lipsticks as they have such a range of colours ( I haven’t got the whole collection) and they aren’t drying like some matte liquid lipsticks can be so they would be good for anyone and everyone.

Retailing at just £6, this makes them very affordable and they’re easily available to get hold of … either online or in-store. They’re only a little bit more pricey than the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, but hardly. I would really recommend these lipsticks to someone who doesn’t like wearing glosses, or overly creamy lipsticks or someone who loves a bold lip but doesn’t want it to be messy and bleed around the lip area … as well as someone who wants an affordable everyday lippy to add to their collection.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoyed it. I would love to hear if you have any liquid lip recommendations, in the comments below. I will see you soon with a new post, but until then make sure you’re all caught up with my previous post.
