New in for October: Beauty Haul!

Hey there and welcome back to my blog. Throughout this month I picked up a few Beauty bits to try out and to restock on, so I thought I would share the bits I bought with you all as I know youse all seem to love a good haul. I hope you enjoy.

The first product that I picked up is the Revolution Brow Pomade in Graphite. I’ve been using the MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcreme for quite a while now but as I’ve nearly used it up, I thought I would try out a cheaper alternative. This one is much more of a cool brown shade and not as red toned as the MAC one which does give the appearance of more natural brows and I really love the way it’s been working for me. I can not recommend enough and it’s really well priced as well (I believe it’s £6).

Also from Revolution, I picked up the Brow Tint in Dark Brown and I was so excited to try this out. However, I wasn’t too happy with how this worked out. The front of my brows looked really blocky (if that’s the right way to explain it) and they looked so harsh. I don’t know whether I applied it wrong but I think I’ll stick to my usual tints in future. You can read all about my brow tints here.

I absolutely love Zoeva brushes and I’ve been wanting a new highlight brush for a while so I decided to get the 134 Luxe Powder Fusion. It’s actually the perfect size for when you want to apply to highlight in smaller areas like the top of the nose or you just want to put a little bit on your cheekbones and it’s been working much better than the fan brush that I was using as it can pick up more product too!!

I also picked up is the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in the shade Ivory. I used this foundation quite a while ago and I remember it not suiting my skin very well, but I thought I’d try it again which I am so glad I did as it’s quickly snuck it’s way into my everyday makeup routine.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you would know that I absolutely love the Facial Sprays from Mario Badescu and after running out of both my Rose Water and Lavender one, I decided to try the Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea one and I’m excited to try this one out. These are perfect to rehydrate your skin, to use before or even after you’ve done your makeup instead of setting spray. If you haven’t tried these yet, you definitely should!!

I’ve been in need of a new eye cream for a while now and I wanted to try the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment, but I thought it was a little pricey and instead went for the Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream. This is so soothing and has really hydrated my eye area which is usually quite dry. Also Hyaluronic acid is really good for the skin so I know that my skin will really benefit from using it.

Last but not least, I picked up the Revolution PRO HD Smokey Eyeliner in Black. I’ve been getting really into using eyeliner on my water line recently, so I thought I’d pick up a new one. I do prefer browns on my water line but I thought I could use a black one in my collection anyway. I haven’t actually tried this out yet, but if I do like it I’m sure you will hear about it on my blog soon!!
