My Winter Travel Bucket List. || Blogcember

Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone and welcome to day 23 of Blogcember. A couple of months ago I shared my Autumn Travel Bucket List and I can’t believe just how well that post did, so I thought I would do a Winter version and share the reasons why I would want to visit these places in the Winter / Christmas time.

Canary Islands:

Visiting the Canary Islands has always been on my Bucket List for like a Summer holiday, but after going on my first winter beach holiday to India at the beginning of this year, I’m very much wanting to do more of them. The Canaries are fairly close in terms of flight times, to England but they still remain quite warm all year round so this is deffo on the cards.

Paris, France

Next up on my Bucket List is Paris, France. France is such a beautiful country and has so much to offer, but the capital city is one of my top places to visit on my Bucket List. The Eiffel Tower light show looks so pretty, french food is so freakin’ good and gives me an excuse to eat lots of carbs lol and the festivities and fireworks around Christmas and for New Year would feel magical.

Edinburgh, UK:

Every year I say to myself ‘oh next year I’ll go to the Edinburgh Christmas Markets’ but it just doesn’t end up happening. Every year I see people’s vlogmas vlogs and they visit them and it just makes me want to go even more. The cold nights, Christmas lights, incredible food … maybe next year will be the year.

Chamonix, France:

Skiing has been something that I’ve seen everyone else do like on social media and TV and stuff but, until recently, it was never something I thought I would like. However, as I’ve not done it myself and as I’ve got older it would actually be something I’d love to try. It seems like it would be something way out of my comfort zone and tricky but so many people say that it’s really good fun. There are lots of places really good for it, but being so close to home Chamonix, France looks like the place. That way if I don’t enjoy it, it’s easy to get home haha.

New York, USA:

Last, but not least, is New York. I’ve always wanted to spend the Christmas period in New York it’s just seems like the most festive place in the world. To ice skate in Central Park, to see the big tree by the Rockefeller centre and to see the fireworks going off … I just can’t. I’d love to know if any of you have been to New York around this time of the year.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoyed the read. I’d love to know if you’ve visited any of these places or what destinations are on your bucket list, in the comments below. You can check out my previous post here and I’ll see you tomorrow with a new one.

I’ve always wanted to spend NYE in NYC. I know it’ll be cold and crowded but dammit, I still want to do it. I’d also like to visit the Edinburgh Christmas markets as well as Germany around the holidays. In 2017, I spent Christmas in Egypt (one of the best choices I ever made) and this year, I’ll be in Mexico over New Year’s!
