February Favourites.

*please excuse the quality of this picture, the lighting was not on my side at the time of taking it!*

Hey there, welcome back to the blog and for today’s post I will be sharing my current favourite products from the month of February. I have been so excited to share my favourites with you for this month because I have found lots of new products that I have been loving as well as going back to older products that I didn’t like to much before but am really liking now. Let’s get into it!!

Soo, my first favourite from the month of Feb is the W7 Makeup and Glow Bronzing Base. I did actually write a review on this a while back, which you can click here to read. At the time of writing the review, I wasn’t crazy about it, but I did like the way that it made my base look, but it seemed to go patchy. However, I have recently started to use this everyday and I can’t get enough of it. I apply this with a Stippling Brush after I’ve blended my foundation, and then I bounce it in with a damp makeup sponge to avoid any harsh lines. I then set it with powder and add a little bronzer. If you wanted a more natural look you could just powder it as you’ve still got the bronzey look, I find that this stays on my skin really nicely now and I don’t seem to get the patchy look that I did when I’d tried it out previously. This retails at £5.99, however you can find it cheaper on Amazon and eBay. I really recommend this product and I can’t wait to continue using it!

The Stippling Brush from Real Techniques is another favourite of mine for this month. To be honest I don’t know why I’ve included this brush into my favourites because I only bought it a couple of weeks ago, but I bought it specifically for the W7 Cream Bronzer and I think this could be the reason why it’s working so well for me. Just because I’m able to apply the product, blend it slightly and blend it out with my makeup sponge. I think using a flat top brush may smear the product rather than blend it in,  so I would recommend using a stippling brush when using a product like this.

My next favourite is the So…? Fragrance in Bali Breeze. I absolutely loved this scent last summer and because I was going on holiday, I decided to take it with me. But since then I just haven’t wanted to stop using it. It’s such a nice refreshing scent made up of Coconut, Pineapple and Orange Blossom … it’s just such a beach scent and I love it. It’s also on boots.com for just £2!!!

Next up is the No7 The Full 360 mascara which I believe is a new release, but don’t quote me on that one. I was scrolling on the boots website at the end of January and this mascara popped up with an offer on it, so we all know I just had to pick it up and try it out. So far I am very pleased with it, it doesn’t make your lashes clumpy, but it has a curved spoolie which makes it super easy to coat each lash and make them full and it gives them a little curl. The mascara doesn’t seem to smudge or transfer throughout the day, so you don’t end up looking like a panda. It doesn’t say that it’s water proof, but I believe that it is, it also lasts up to 12 hours and looks just as good from application to removal. I also found that it comes off really easy when I take my makeup off and I use the Garnier miceller water oil-infused cleanser.  It literally has everything you would want in a mascara all for just £14. There are also many other deals on this mascara right now and you can check those out by clicking here.

The LOCLiquid Shimmer Shadow in the shade Moonlight, which I actually received in February’s Birchbox. Admittedly I have only used this a few times but I honestly have never used something so easy in my makeup routine. A quick transition colour through the crease, spread this over the main part of the lid for a cut crease or in the centre for a halo eye and VOILA ya done. It it really opaque and drys down pretty quickly, as well as lasting on the lid, I cannot wait to create more looks with this and I can’t recommend it enough.

I've really been liking using it recently and you can make it look natural, or more defined for contour. Thankyou so much for reading and I can't recommend it enough!
