Hey there and welcome back to another post on my blog. After the last few weeks or so of being on a spending ban, I decided that as soon as payday rolled around, that I would add some new bits to my makeup and skincare collection. I picked up quite a few bits and I know you all love a good haul, so let's see what I picked up!

So I'm going to start with the couple of bits that I picked up in Primark. As far as I can remember, I don't think I've tried anything from their makeup range ... maybe like the odd lipstick or something, and the foundation is something that everyone has been talking about for a while so naturally, I had to try it out. This foundation retails at just £2.50 and you do get quite a big tube for that price. I picked up the shade NUDE. I'm not going to say too much about this because I am going to be reviewing it for the next part of my Foundation Reviewing series, but let's just say I was shocked and I'll leave it at that.

You can check out my Foundation Review Series here!

I then saw the Matte Lipsticks, which you all know I'm all about. I was going to pick up a nude but I've come to the realisation that I have WAY too many and this Red shade stood out to me. This lipstick is in the shade Limbo and it's the literal perfect red shade for me ... not to light or dark but also seems a bit like an orangey red and I LOOVVVE it!!! This lipstick retails at £1.50 and it's super smooth and creamy, so it's not a drying matte but I always dab my lips with some tissue or something to make my lipsticks more like a tint. There's nothing about this lipstick that I can't shout about and for the price, you can just bet I'm gonna be stocking up on all the shades ... not that I need them, but I need them, you feel me?!

Next up is the Lifeproof Concealer from Sleek Makeup. I actually really like sleek makeup products, but I've only tried a couple of products from their before, so I wanted to try out more of their range. And obviously, when I saw that Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on makeup, I thought it was the best time to try them. Also, just a quick heads up that this post was written over a week ago, before I did the Sleek Concealer review, but I didn't know how to fit it in with my schedule and when to upload it. If you would like to hear my thoughts on this concealer in more depth, you can click here.

I also picked up the Lip Dose from Sleek, because I've been wanting to add more creamy lipsticks to my makeup collection as it's very much all about the mattes at the moment. During the summer, my lips tend to get really dry and using something more creamy ... obviously other than gloss, helps them to stay hydrated. I'm really fussy when it comes to lip glosses because I don't like the sticky feeling some of them give, so a creamy lipstick works a treat. I picked up the shade 'Say My Name' which is a nude-y pink. I love how I said I wanted something different in my collection and STILL went for a nude, but this one is described as a Mauve, so it's a little different ... right?!

Now, let's move on to Skincare. I go through stages of taking really good care of my skin and then when it's cleared up, I get lazy with it again. My skin used to be more combination skin, with very dry patches under my eyes and round my nose and kind of oily round the perimeter of my face. But nowadays it's got very oily and I think sometimes I use this as an excuse not to be so on top of my game when it comes to skin care. So, I thought what better way to get me back into loving my skin again than trying some new bits out. I picked up the Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack and the Simple Skin Quench Sleeping Cream. These are both gel based creams, which I heard were the best types of creams to use when you have oily skin because they're oil-free and are said to hydrate the skin, without leaving it feeling greasy. So far I'm really enjoying using these products and I wake up in the morning to my skin feeling super soft.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoyed the read and I'll see you soon with a new one!

Hey there and welcome back to another post on my blog. For today’s post I’m coming at you with another product review. I’ve been really enjoying testing out and reviewing products lately and you seem to be enjoying reading them, so I thought I should do another one. Today I’ll be review the Sleek MakeUP Lifeproof Concealer, which you may have seen in my Boots Haul post. (That post will actually be going up after this one, so make sure you keep an eye out for it as I know you all love a good haul post!!)
Before we get round to talking about the product itself, let’s talk a bit about the package because we all know how much packaging encourages me to buy a new product so it can sit and look pretty in my collection. The packaging for this concealer is quite basic and minimalistic, with the clear tube and the black lid with the sleek logo on it. The tube itself is quite thick and it’s almost comparable to the Revolution Conceal and Define Supersize Concealer in terms of size.

Although the packaging is pretty big compared to a lot of concealer packaging, the dofut applicator is much smaller than expected and it also hasn’t got much of a sponge on the end. This does make it feel quite sharp and harsh in the skin when applying it and this makes it quite difficult to get the product out. Due to this you do have to go in a few times to get more product on to the applicator to get enough product out in order to blend. Although it could be seen as a negative that it’s hard to get the product out of the tube, I think it has taught me to use less concealer for everyday looks, as I do usually slap it on like there’s not tomorrow but this could be seen as a positive too because it’ll last longer. In the reviews that I have read on the website, people have said that it does last a while anyway, which is always a good thing.
This concealer is said to give a full coverage, however, due to the fact not much product comes out, I would say it’s more of a medium, yet buildable, coverage. I think this would be a good product to use for a more natural, lightweight base. With 11 Shades in the collection I think it’s quite a wide range, particularly do a drugstore brand. However, I do feel like the shade range could be wider to be more inclusive.

Retailing at just £6.99 places it almost in the middle when it comes to prices for drugstore concealers. I do think that it’s well priced for the amount of product you get (7.4ml) and the quality of the product itself, however I do think their could be some improvements when it comes to the applicator, as personally this is the only downfall for me when it comes to this product.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post, I really do appreciate it. I’m uploading a whole lot more now so please be sure to check out my previous posts if you enjoyed this one! (Or if this wasn’t your cup of tea, then I’m sure you can find something that is in the archive).

Hey there and welcome back to a new post on my blog. A few days or so ago I uploaded my 'Top 10 Favourite Youtubers ATM' blog post and you all seemed to like that one, so I thought I would do a Blogger version. I must admit, I don't really read blogs as much as I do watch YouTube ... hense why theirs only 5 faves here ... but these are some of the bloggers I've found myself reading a whole lot more than normal throughout these past few weeks or so. Anyway, let's get into it and I hope you enjoy the read.

You can check out my fave YouTubers post here!

Makeup Savvy is one of those bloggers that I’ve read posts here and there but never really because a regular blog that I read. But recently, I have really been enjoying her posts and catching up on previous one I missed. Makeup Savvy is one of your typical beauty blogs, however there’s something about this one that seems different and stands out to me. Makeup Savvy is run by a girl called Fee and she’s been blogging for a while now. I actually found this one on bloglovin’ and I’m so glad I did. If you haven’t already checked out her blog, you can find it at www.makeupsavvy.co.uk!

Next up is The Diary of a Spanglish Girl blog which is run by a British girl named Lauren who actually lives in Benidorm, Spain ... hence the name Spanglish. I’m such a sucker for a good travel blog or inspiring posts and this sums up Lauren’s content quite well. Not only is there travel content but there’s also a bit of some gift guides and more lifestyle posts too! Also, if you are a lover of dogs like myself, then this may be another reason to check her out because there’s always something dog related on a blog post, Twitter or Instagram. You can find her blog at www.diaryofaspanglishgirl.com.

Now, let’s talk Poppy Deyes who I’m sure you’ve all heard of. If you haven’t, she is Alfie Deyes’ (AKA PointlessBlog) sister who started up her own blog. Her blog is over at www.poppydeyes.com and her content includes beauty, lifestyle, fashion and travel as well. I really enjoy blogs that have a mixture of anything and everything on their and I love the way Poppy has set out her blog and her template etc.

I came across Lydia Millen’s blog through her YouTube channel when every one seemed to be talking about her a while ago. Although Lydia has been blogging for 6 years or so, I’ve only just found myself really keeping up with her posts. She posts a lot of ... yep, you guessed it ... beauty, fashion and lifestyle content but they always seem to be different to a lot of posts I’ve seen before. Such unique ideas and the photography is something else that really stands out in her posts. You can find her blog at www.lydiaelisemillen.com.

My last favourite blog in my top 5 list is In The Frow, which is a fashion, beauty and travel blog (you can probably see a pattern here of the types of blogs I read haha!) and it’s run by a girl called Victoria. I really like Victoria’s blog because it’s got a wide range of content on there that you’re guaranteed to find something that you’ll enjoy. I also really like what she’s called her blog, although it’s a short and sweet name, it’s perfect for a blog that has fashion content on it as, if you didn’t know, frow means front row ... so in the front row essentially. You can check here blog out at www.inthefrow.com.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoyed it. Sorry this post is later than I’d planned, but at least it’s up now!!

Until Next Time,

Hey there and welcome back to a new post on my blog. It's been so long since I did a post about my favourite youtubers to watch, so I thought I would do an updated one, especially as I'm watching so many different ones than I was when I last did this post. I have noticed that I've steered away from watching beauty videos as much as I did before and now I'm very much into watching vlogs, challenges and exploring videos at the moment. Anyway, let's get into it!

SYDANDELL
I’ve only recently started watching SYDANDELL properly, because before I had only watch them every so often. However, now I’m watching them religiously and I even went back and watch probably every single one they’ve ever uploaded. SYDANDELL are best friends, if it isn’t obvious one of them is called Sydney and the others called Ellie and they’re 21 and 22. They upload a mixture of beauty, fashion and travel videos as well as drive with me’s and they’ve also recently started a blog channel by the name of SYDANDELLVLOGS. I deffo recommend checking they’re videos soon!

Gibi ASMR
Well I just had to include one ASMRtist on here didn’t I? ASMR is such a popular thing on YouTube at the moment and I really have been enjoying watching/listening to it recently. Gibi does a range of different types of videos and they’re all so relaxing and really good for people with anxiety to.

Steph Pappas
For those of you who haven’t watched any of Stephs videos, she does mukbangs and tbh I don’t know why I like watching her videos because all she does is eat and talk about random stuff, but I find her funny ... especially the videos with her dad. I came across Stephs channel a year or so ago and I always keep up with her videos now.

Jess & Gabriel
I have been watching Jess and Gabriel since before the got engaged and I think they’re just so cute. If you haven’t seen these two, then Jess is Australian and Gabe is American and they got married and now live in LA together. I really like watching their vlogs and keeping up with their lives. If you’re into couple YouTubers then do make sure you check them out.

Sam & Colby
I actually found Sam & Colbys channel through another America YouTuber called Brennen Taylor. Sam & Colby are known for both exploring videos and haunted videos. They’ve done a number of 3am challenge videos and ghost hunting and I like their videos particularly because they’re so different to a lot of other youtubers that I watch.

Family Fizz
I’ve been watching family fizz for quite a while now and recently they’ve become one of my go to channels to watch. For those that don’t know, they’re a family vlog channel and they do a number of different challenges and travel vlog style videos as well as just everyday vlogs. They move around the world quite often to live in different countries for a long period of time each and at the moment they’re in Dubai. I really recommend this channel to you all.

Elle Darby
Elle Darby has been one of those youtubers that I’ve watched on and off for so long, but recently I’ve been really keeping up with her videos. She does a lot of beauty, fashion and also vlog style videos as well as challenges with her boyfriend, who also has a channel. She has nearly 250k subscribers but I love how real and easy to watch she is. She’s also shared a few videos about her weight loss, surgery and more personal topics, so if you’re into those sort of videos then I deffo recommend checking her channel out.

Hannah Renee
Hannah is a beauty youtuber with over 400k subscribers and after a while of not watching her, I’ve become hooked on her videos again. As well as beauty videos, she also does vlogs as well as girl talk videos and I find them so interesting. I really like her travel vlogs imparticuler, although they’re not regularly uploaded, I do look forward to seeing them.

Sidemen

This one sort of goes without saying and I’m sure you all know who the sidemen are. If you don’t they’re a British group of 7 guys who upload lots of challenge videos, a lot of them vlog style and I find them really entertaining and funny. They used to be called the ultimate sidemen and they have over 4 million subs on the main sidemen channel. They all have separate channels as well which are KSI, miniminter, behzinga, Zerkaa, wroetoshaw, tbjzl and Vikkstar123.

Talia Maizels
Last but not least is Talia Maizels. I came across Talia’s channel probably over a year ago now and this was through one of her drive with mes which I think are the videos that made her popular. Talia does a number of different types of videos including makeup, vlogs, drive with me’s, challenges and more. She is so relatable and also so normal, which is nice to see on YouTube now a days.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read my latest post, I hope you enjoyed. I’ll be back in a couple of days with a new post, but be sure to check out my previous posts until then.

Hey there and welcome back to another post on my blog. I’ve been really liking doing reviews and talking in more depth about products recently so I thought I would do another one. After trying (and reviewing) the Revolution Easter Egg Palettes, I really wanted to try the Donut Palettes but I wasn’t sure on which palette to get. So after finally deciding that the Raspberry Icing was the one I wanted, I’m finally getting round to writing a review on it.
Firstly, let’s talk packaging. Revolution absolutely KILL their packaging every single time, even the more simple ones. But this one is super cute and looks so realistic ... it almost makes me want a donut when I use it. Not only is it quite small but it comes with a mirror which is always a bonus and it makes it very good for on the go use and travelling. I also like that the left side of the palette could be used for more of a summery look and the right side could be for an autumnal eye look, so again it's versatile.

As you may be able to see from the swatch photo below the shadows are very pigmented and such lovely shades. However, I did find that the pale pink and the pink highlight shades were a bit harder to swatch and to get the pigment out of because they were really powdery. Although they weren’t to pigmented, I must say that if used on the eyes either as a cut crease or with a bit of setting spray, it should bring out the pigment a bit more and make the colour more bold and show up more. Other than the two lighter shade being hard to swatch, the other shades were really pigmented and the shadows as a whole were really creamy and easy to blend ... all this for such a good price. The donut palettes all retail at £5, which is pretty much average for Revolutions palettes and it’s even a little bit cheaper than many other drugstore palettes too.
So my overall thoughts on this palette are positive, I really like how good quality the shadows are, which is pretty much guaranteed with Revolution products anyway, and the packaging is super cute, the palette is really well priced and I don’t actually have many pink eye shadows in my collection, so I’m happy to have this one now!!

Thankyou so much for reading this post, I really hope you enjoyed it. Don’t forget to follow my Bloglovin’ so you don’t miss a post and I will see you next time with a new post.

Good morning and happy Monday to you all. As it's a new week and we're in the early days of a new month, I thought it would be a good idea to kick it off with a motivational post. I know Monday is a lot of peoples most disliked day, but for me I look at it as a good thing because it's new start. However, I sometimes need that little bit of a boost to get the week started, so here are some good ol' quotes to hopefully add that little pep in your step this morning!

I’m still confused about how I’m already writing a MAY favourites post for this year, like where is the time going? This month has been very good and my beauty finds have been even better, so if you would like to hear all about them then sit back, grab a cuppa and enjoy!
My first favourite for this month is the Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil in the shade Vanilla Nude. This is definitely more of a tinted moisturiser than a foundation, because it’s got really light coverage but I think this is going to be a summer / summer holiday must have. It’s so lightweight on the skin so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any makeup, but I still evens out the skin tone and gives you a healthy glow. At £12 I guess you could say it retails a little bit higher than a lot of other drugstore foundations, but I have really been enjoying using it and I really recommend it to those who aren’t into very heavy, full coverage makeup, especially when it’s warm and sunny.

The NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop loose translucent powder has quickly made its way into my everyday makeup routine over the past few weeks and I absolutely love the finish it gives. It’s completely translucent so doesn’t change the colour of your base, but it sets it with no crease, doesn’t cause flash back and it’s really fine so doesn’t cling to dry patches either. Again, it is a little more pricey than a lot of drugstore products at £10 but I think it’s really good quality and deffo one I recommend to you all!

It’s been so long since I’ve properly used any of my MAC Lipsticks, so I promised myself that I would start using them again over the month of May. Obviously as soon as I started using them again my love for them came back almost instantly and I’ve gravitated towards Kinda Sexy even more than the others. What I love about this particular lipstick is that, although it is a nude and really good for everyday wear, it’s also got a hint of pink in it and that makes it the perfect spring kinda nude.

Thankyou so much for reading all about my favourite products for this month, I really hope you enjoyed it.

Hey there and welcome to a new post on my blog. I hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend and for today's post I have a bit of a life update for you all. I didn't know what to call this post but there are a few things that I wanted to share with you.

Way back in January I was really working hard on my blog and had so much planned for the first few months or so of 2019. However, when came back from my Holiday my motivation, ideas and also inspiration for my blog, were at an all time low. I feel like I have hardly been uploading on my blog for 3 or 4 months now and at times I felt like the love for it had completely gone. Looking back, I noticed that this was around the time that my blog views plummeted and it felt like a lot of my regular readers had got bored of me. However, I do think maybe I've been uploading posts that I know get views, rather than the ones I actually have a passion for and want to put out regardless off the amount of views it gets.

So, my plan for the month of June is to upload a new post every other day, if not every 3 days, to get my blogging mojo back and into the swing of things again. I have so many ideas on blog posts I want to write and I can't wait for you all to see what I've been working on. If you have any ideas of posts that you would like to see from me or you're a blogger that would like to collab, then I would love to hear from you either in the comments below or on my socials. Basically what this post was trying to say is that I'm BACK and you'll be seeing much more of me on here in the coming months!

I will be uploading every other day from the 1st June so please make sure you subscribe to my blog or follow my bloglovin' so you don't miss a post.

Hey there! For today’s post I will be reviewing the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Powder Foundation ... I know, me using a powder foundation! Who’d have thought it eh?

I recently had a bit of a splurge on makeup, most of it from NYX and the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop collection really stood out to me and I wanted to try everything. So I picked up the two Foundations, the liquid one and the powder one, and the loose setting powder. I do wanted to do a separate post reviewing the liquid foundation as that’s probably more of a ME product, but let’s see what I thought of the powder one first. I picked up the shade Alabaster which is actually the second lightest shade, but I like my foundations to give me a bit of colour so I went with this one. It’s got just the right undertone for my skin and it matches almost perfectly. I use a smaller brush first to pack on the powder and then I use a kabuki brush to just blend it out seamlessly.

I usually end up an oily, sweaty mess by the end of the day when I wear liquid foundation, particularly in the summer, so a powder foundation should work wonders for my skin. I noticed that it felt a lot lighter on my skin, almost as if I didn’t have anything on it. I did get a couple of compliments about how much skin looked really clear, but they also didn’t know I had any makeup on it.
Powder foundations are particularly good for no makeup, makeup looks because they look super lightweight and give your skin a healthy bit of colour and coverage but don’t make you look cakey. I can’t wait to use this throughout the summer to not only feel less grim and sweaty, oily and not be able to tan through makeup but to also not get the sunglasses spots in your nose. WHAT A DREAM. If I’m looking to do a very full coverage look, then I use this to set my face as well and it’s almost like it gives even more coverage, not only just setting it.

It did cost £15 which I do think is a little more pricey for a drugstore product, but I because I’m very happy with the way this foundation works and looks on my skin, I do think it’s worth the money. However, due to the fact I’m not necessarily crazy about powder foundations, I don’t know if I would repurchase.

And there we have it, my thoughts on the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Powder Foundation. Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post and I really hope you enjoyed it!! See you soon.

IT'S FRI-YAY!!! Happy Weekend guys and welcome to a new post. This one is in collaboration with the lovely Mercydes from mercydesmoore.wordpress.com and we are both going to be sharing our favourite eye shadow palettes for spring / summer.

So, I'm just now realizing that 5/6 of these palettes are from Revolution and like I knew I was obsessed with and loved the brand so much, but I didn't realize quite how much hahah.

I've actually done quite a few eye looks with these palettes so I've included them at the end of this post because I don't know about you, but I love seeing the looks other people have created.
Anyway, my first favourite palette is the Revolution x Imogenation palette, which I actually feel has been neglected these past few months or so because I have been trying out lots of other new ones, but this SCREAMS spring vibes to me. Particularly the left side of the palette as the right side could be considered more autumnal. The two shades that always stand out to me are Butterfly and You Know (the blue and the red) and you can bet your life that these will be making any appearances in my makeup routine over the coming months. Not only does this palette have a number of transition shades and my fave oranges, it's also so versatile and you can make lots of different looks including smokey eyes, pop of colour, cut crease etc etc. It kinda goes without saying as it is from Revolution, but the colour payoff is insane and they're so creamy and blendable ... AND as well as all of this it has a black and a white (shimmery white) too!

The Mermaid Hearts palette is a very new fave of mine, but I know you're all going to love this one too. I don't know about you, but recently blue has just been THE colour, it's everywhere, everyone's loving it, I'm loving it and this palette is just perfect for blue / teal looks. Although it's a very blue / teal palette, it's still really versatile with the mix of shimmer and matte shadows, the light and dark shades, transition shades, blues, yellow, pinks ... I really think this will be a summer holiday staple.

This Huda Beauty Emerald Obsessions palette has been on my wish list for so long and a few months ago I decided to treat myself to it. The lighter green and shimmery yellow are probably the more spring vibe shadows in this palette, but green is the type of colour that can be used anytime of the year, whether it’s the coldest of winters during the Christmas season or you’re on the way to a beach club. I can’t wait to have more of a play with this palette.

I think you can probably tell by now that during the spring / summer months my go-to shadows are yellows, pinks, oranges and just about anything with a shimmer. So obviously the Revolution Peanut Butter palette couldn’t be left out of this post. Not only does this have pretty pastel colours but when a palette has a black AND a white, you just know that it’ll be a go-to for me, whatever time of year it is. I’m eyeing up the yellow and the shimmery purple for a new look?👀
I've been wanting an all matte palette and a really colourful palette for a while now, so when I saw that Revolution had the Reloaded Mysterious Mattes, I was all over it. These reloaded palettes are honestly something else and this one in particular has all those bright, pastel shades that are a STAPLE for the spring and summer. Again, the pigment of these shadows puts a lot of other brands to shame and for £4 ... FOUR FREAKIN' POUNDS, are you joking?  I used this palette for the *bottom left* and some of the *top right* look that you can see below.

My last favourite S/S eye shadow palette is the Revolution Chocolate Easter Egg and the look I created with this one is the *middle left* look. These iridescent, almost foil like shadows are honestly to die for and the pay off from these is a JOKE for a £5 palette. Well you can see for yourself in the look I did. The yellow highlight is SCREAMING at me and I can see this as both a cheekbone and inner corner highlight when I've got a tan!! I did do a full review on these palettes, so if you would like to read that where I go into more depth about the palette, then please click here.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post, I really hope you enjoyed reading about my fave s/s eye palettes. Don't forget to check out Mercydes' post here and I will see you soon with a new post!
