My Winter Nail Polish Picks | 12 Days of Christmas!

Hey there! This time last year I shared my winter nail polish picks and you all seemed to really like that post, so I thought I’d do the same this year as I have a few new faves. I also do get Acrylic Nails done so I will be sharing some of my fave colours that I’ve had recently and I tried to remember as many of the names of them as possible or at least pretty close match. I hope you enjoy!!

Quick disclaimer: Some of these nail polishes aren’t your typical winter vampy and dark tones, but these are my personal faves at the moment.

So … let’s start off with one of my longest loving faves which is Strawberry Milkshake from Ciate, which is a pastel pink. I love this color because it’s soo perfect for all different occasions and times of the year. I particularly like using this pink in the winter because it gives me them Spring / Summer vibes.

My next favourite polish is Black from Barry M. Now, I don’t need to say much about this one because let’s be honest, we all love black nails every now and then. Something so good for all occasions, stylish and good for someone who never wears any colour … aka, me!

It’s not winter or the festive season without a bit of glitz and shimmer, so I couldn’t not include a couple in this post. Starting with a glitter polish, it’ Celestial from Ciate and this is the perfect silver for some nail art or one for the ring finger. I love how smooth and not bumpy this one feels and it is very opaque … but a couple of coats never hurt nobody. Sometimes I prefer more of a pearl finish and the Essie polish in Buy me a Cameo and this one just ~SCREAMS~ Christmas, to me and I loovee it!

Buy me a Cameo came in a duo set with Chocolate Cakes, which is a very dark brown and again is perfect for this time of year. Throughout the Autumn and Winter, dark, cosy and vampy colours come out to play and I am here for this one. I haven’t used this too much yet, as it’s new to my collection, but I cannot wait to get using it throughout the season!

Next up is the Studio London polish in 701, which is a pearlised (I don’t even know if that’s a word, but we’ll go with it!) Red and to me this is such a Christmassy colour. I wish I had a picture of this on my nails to show just how pretty it is, but you’re just going to have to take my word for it!

Last, but not least, is Sugar Daddy from Essie, which is a pinky colour but by no means as opaque and pigmented as it looks in the picture above. This is much more of a clear colour, or a colour you would use for a french manicure. However, if you build this up with 2/3 thin layers it does bring some colour out in it. Sometimes I like to put this one on when I don’t have my acrylics on, but still want my nails to look presentable!!

Top: OPI Red
Left: OPI Malaga Wine
Right: OPI Passion
Bottom: A Nude Gel Colour and OPI An affair in Red Square (These nails looked so much better in person, I promise haha!)

And there we have my Winter Nail Polish Picks. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post and I hope you enjoyed hearing all about my favourite nail polishes for the season.
