June Favourites.

For today’s post I will be sharing my favourites for the month of June. I did take a break from Favourites posts for May as I was using the same products as the month before, but throughout June I came across lots of new products that I have been really enjoying using. So, let’s get into it.

My first favourite was actually an old favourite which I recently got my hands on again and this is the Victoria’s Secret Body Spray in Such a Flirt. I believe this spray has been discontinued as I wasn’t able to find it in store at VS, in Superdrug or anywhere else online other than eBay … but don’t quote me on that because they could just be sold out.

Next up is the Neutrogena Hydraboost Eye Cream, which I picked up a few weeks ago. Recently, I’ve been getting quite a dry eyelid and under eye area but only on one eye. I was using lots of different creams, oils and serums but nothing seemed to help it really so I thought I should try a water based eye gel as the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturiser has really helped my skin before. I notified that even after a few uses, my eye area was a whole lot more hydrated and smooth and after a few days the dryness was gone completely. I really don’t think you need to spend a lot of money on eye creams to get a good quality one and this one really proves that as it retails at just £10.39 which I’d say is midway between drugstore and high end skincare and I think it’s so worth it. If you have any dupes for this or other eye creams that you think I should try, then please let me know in the comment below!!

My next favourite is the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I didn’t actually like this at first because I found that it was too full coverage and cakey, however over the past month or so I’ve found myself reaching for it more and more. I use the tiniest bit, as it goes a long way, and blend it out with a damp beauty blender, so that it takes away any excess product. Also, baking it has helped smooth it out and set it better so that it stays in place and doesn’t budge through out the day. It is a little expensive at £18.50, but it’s currently on sale at Debenhams and it’s linked here.

The NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes has been part of my everyday makeup routine throughout June and I’ve been really liking the way it looks. It’s like a pale, orangey nude which gives me that summer feeling but also still looks neutral and is a perfect nude for this time of year. I really recommend these lip creams as they are really well priced, smooth not drying, last all day through meals and drinks and they do a number of different colours.

The last favourite of mine for this month is the Ben & Anna UK Vegan Deodorant Stick in Pink Grapefruit. I’ve only been using this for a few weeks but I have really been liking it and the scent of it lasts all day which makes you smell really good. This fruit scent is perfect for summer and I really recommend them. If you would like to read my full review on this then you can click here.
