Body Skincare For Those Who CBA!

When it comes to taking care of the skin on my face, neck and chest, I’m all over it and don’t go a day without doing my whole routine at least twice. But, when it comes to taking care of the rest of my body, skincare sort of goes out the window and I become really lazy with it. This gave me a good idea for a blog post so that I could share with you the way I take care of my skin when I really can’t be bothered.

Nearly all of my body skincare is done in the shower so that when I get out the shower I can focus on doing my hair and the rest of my skincare routine. If you would like to read my latest skincare routine post you can click here. The first product that I use in the shower is the Radox Shower Mousse in the Mango and Mandarin scent, which is such a fresh and fruit scent and I absolutely love it. This Mousse can be used for a number of different things including a body wash, shaving cream and it’s also really nourishing and hydrating as well … so if you get quite dry skin, like I do particularly around my elbows, then this would be right up your street. I’m definitely quite lazy when it comes to taking care of my skin, other than my face, neck and chest, so having something you can use in the Shower, that has multiple different uses is perfect for someone like me!

You can buy this here!

Obviously using a shaving cream or conditioner or something that’s going to protects the skin from cuts whilst shaving is recommended, however using razors that have an extra hydrating soap around the razor really helps to keep the skin from coming up in a shaving rash or bumps and it works wonders if you’re travelling or if you run out of shaving cream. These razors that I have been using are the Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive Razors which have an added ‘protective ribbon of moisture’ with added Aloe Vera, they’re also good for sensitive skin so you won’t get any irritation from them, like you may do when using other razors without this.

Take a look at these razors here!!

Using an in-shower moisturiser also works wonders and saves you time when getting out of the shower, usually I would just use the Mousse, but sometimes if I need a little bit more hydration I would use the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser for dry skin. Some other good ones include the Dove Nourishing In-Shower Argon Oil (linked here) and the Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner (linked here).

Lastly, if you suffer from Bacne (back acne) like I sometimes get, as well as down my arms, this Back Spray from the Boots Tea Tree Range will be you’re new bff. When I get out the shower and have dried off, I then spray this on the tops of my arms and on my back and this treats those spots and redness that I have. The tea tree is also very soothing on the sore / more red areas and within a few days you should start to notice a difference … I cannot recommend this enough and you can check it out here!

Also, if I do want to put a little more effort in, I’ll then finish off with some body butter. I have been absolutely loving this M&S Lemon Verrena Body Butter recently. It smells soo good and keeps you feeling smooooth all day!!!

I know this post was quite short, but I still wanted to share with you the way you can take care of your skin without having to put much effort into it. I really hope you enjoyed this post and have maybe taken some tips away from this!
