My Skincare Favourites of April & End of the Month Empties.

In my last post, I shared my Beauty Favourites of April, which you can read here, so for today's post I wanted to share my Skincare Favourites.

Check out my In Shower and Bath Favourites on my YouTube here.

My first skincare favourite is the Nivea Day Cream which I bought a couple of weeks ago. This is perfect for this time of year as it has SPF 15 in it and if I decide to use a foundation without SPF in it, this can protect my skin anyway. It’s so lightweight and doesn’t have that crumbly feeling on the skin that some sun creams or moisturisers do. It’s also quite cheap at £3.99 and the ‘normal and combination skin’ one has been really good for my skin ... I really recommend it.

My next skincare favourite this month is Bio Oil. I use different oils on my skin every night, but I’ve recently started using bio oil and it’s really helped to sort out my skin, by getting rid of a lot of my acne scarring, the redness and helping to re-hydrate my skin and get rid of the dryness.

I’ve also been really loving the ELF Conditioning Lip Balm in Nice & Natural. I have been using this on and off for quite a few years now and it’s recently become my go-to again. It’s actually really pigmented and looks like a proper gloss, but it’s really light weight and creamy, without being sticky, which is perfect for the warmer weather as it keeps your lips soft and hydrated. I believe this has now been discontinued, but you may be able to find this on eBay!

You may have been me pick up the Garnier Refreshing Botanical Toner in my Drugstore Haul Post (read here) and I have been using it non stop since. I put this on after I've cleansed my skin and this re-hydrate and refreshes my skin, ready for the rest of my skincare routine. It's so soothing and Aloe is supposed to be good for your skin so I'm all for it!!

My last skincare favourite of April (before I get on to the End of the Month Empties) is the Boots Hydrating Day Cream SPF15 ... as you can probably tell by now, I'm a little obsessed with SPF Moisturizers. But over the few really hot days I started to use it again, as it's been part of my Summer Skincare Routine for a few years now. It's so lightweight, hydrating and works well under makeup or on it's own AND it doesn't crumble on the skin when mixed with other products (!!!)

End of the Month Empties:

Last month I decided to share an 'End of the Month Empties' Post, which seemed to be a really popular post, so I thought I would share another one this month.

Last Months EofME (here)

My first empty is the Nip & Fab No Needle Eye Fix, which I'm sure you've seen my write about on my blog throughout my time using it and I genuinely really loved this. I have really dry eyelids and under-eyes, but this helped to really keep them hydrated ... without the greasy feeling. It's also really good for getting rid of under-eye circles, puffiness and lines around the eyes and is actually perfect for what I want in an eye cream, so I will definitely be picking up another one!!

As much as I did like the GA-DE Cosmetics Triple Protection Night Cream, I felt that I did neglect it over the past few months when I was using a whole load of other products. I decided to use this up this month, although it is hydrating it is a little bit thick and does seem to crumble on the skin, which must be because some of the products in it may not work with some of the other products I'm using, but I'm not sure. I do feel like it does give the skin a good treatment over night and does really hydrate the skin.

My last empty of April is the EOS Passion Fruit Lip Balm and I LOVE these lip balms. They're so smooth and hydrating, which works perfect for my as I suffer from dry lips in the colder months and my lips burn easily in the warmer month so I always have one of these on me. They can be a little pricey at £6.50 but you should be able to find cheaper ones on Amazon or eBay!!

Until Next Time,
