My Makeup Collection Part 2 | Concealers!

Today I will be sharing part 2 of my makeup collection which are my Concealers! If you know me concealers are up there with one of my favourite parts of my makeup routine and collection so I’m very exited about this post. I hope you enjoy.

Part One | Lip Wardrobe (here)

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer:

First up are the Revolution Conceal & Define Concealers and I have the two lightest shades C1 and C2. This Concealer has to be one of my favourite drugstore concealer as it just blurs our all my blemishes, doesn’t crease (as long as it’s set properly) and the shade range is really good so even us pale gals and guys can highlight the high points of our faces too. I have written a full review on this concealer which you can read (here) if you want to see all my thoughts.

NYX HD Concealer:

I then have the NYX HD Concealer which I have been using on and off for a few years ago. I must admit it’s not one of my favourites due to the poor shade range and the lightest shade being quite orange toned, but I think if the shade range was better that I’d like it a lot more. The coverage is decent, but still buildable and because it’s quite a thin consistency and very lightweight, it doesn’t look cakey or crease. If you can find a shade to match you, I think you’ll really like this concealer.

LA Girl PRO Conceal:

The LA Girl PRO Conceal is another staple in my collection and I have been using it for years now. When I was in School this was my everyday concealer as it was so affordable but would last on the skin throughout the day without going patchy or creasing and it saved me from the dark circles. This concealer also has a very good shade range and I really couldn’t recommend it enough.

MAC Pro Longwear:

This one is the newest to my collection and to be honest I’m not too sure on my thoughts. It’s quite a heavy, thick concealer which I can only make work if I blend, blend and blend some more. I use a damp Beauty Blender to take away and of the excess product and then I usually bake with a light weight, translucent powder like the RCMA No Color Powder. I only wear this when I’m going for a full on glam look, but it does make the skin look flawless and for me thats what I need.

Bourjois Healthy Mix:

Bourjois … again a staple drugstore brand for me (I think I’ve said that a lot now!) … has a number of different products that I love and this concealer certainly is one of them. Bourjois’ Foundations and Concealers all have a very yellow colour to them, which I really like as it cancels out any redness caused by my acne and works almost as a colour corrector. I also really like how it feels very thin, almost like an oily consistency (not in a bad way) that just sinks into the skin seamlessly. If this is used with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation it works incredibly together (well obviously haha!) and I love this combo.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Concealer:

This is another concealer that you’ve probably heard me talk about on my blog, but I really like this concealer and I find that with the Breathable Foundation it create the perfect combo, one that’s perfect for both everyday looks and more glam looks. This is because they’re so lightweight and let’s the skin breath … hence the name … but they also have really good coverage. The shade range of these foundations isn’t the best (there’s about 6 shades) but I’ve managed to find a shade that works for me so I’m not complaining.

Maybelline Fit Me:

The main reason that I picked up this concealer is because so many people said that it was a good dupe for the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and I couldn’t really justify spending £24 on a concealer so I thought if I can find a cheaper version then I should try that instead. I do like this concealer, but I wouldn’t rush back to buy it … not that it isn’t good but I just have other concealers that work the same, if not better. There are quite a few shades in this concealer (I believe there’s 11) but the lightest shade is still a little bit dark for me. Aside from the things I dislike about it, I do really like the coverage as it’s not too heavy, but still does mask under eye circles and any super red spots which I am here for.

Natural Collection Cover Up Cream:

Natural Collection products have been part of my collection since I was about 11/12 when I was first getting into makeup and they will always be a staple for me. I used to use this just because it was cheap (£1.99) but I still use it every now and then because it is actually good and the way it works doesn’t actually look ‘cheap’. The only downside is that there are only 3 shades so not everyone would be able to use this. I can see that Natural Collection have changed their packaging and upped their prices (only to £2.49) but I’m not sure if the concealer is still the same so I’ll have to pick it up when I next run out of this.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer:

Now you probably all know about my love for this concealer, so I’ve saved the best until last. Before I finally caved and purchased this, I was a bit put off the price because I didn’t want to spend the best part of £20 on a concealer, but now I can see that it’s performance does reflect the price. Although it’s super full coverage, it doesn’t look or feel cakey and your skin can still breath as well. It also feels super lightweight and if set right, it doesn’t crease and the under eyes look flawless and smooth all day.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
