My Updated Evening Skincare Routine!

My skincare routine is always chopping and changing, but recently I have been trying out a number of different products. I previously shared with you my skincare routine, so I thought I'd update you with all the products I am using now!!

Let’s start with cleansers - I’m always alternating between them because my skin changes between dry and oily very often. To remove my makeup I’ve been using the L’OrĂ©al fine flowers cleansing cream. I just take a small amount of the product and rub it all over my face to loosen to any makeup and then I wipe it away with warm water and a flannel. I will then use the Nip + Fab Glycolic Scrub Fix face scrub to clean out the pores, which will stop the pores from clogging with any makeup left over.

If I haven’t been wearing makeup, I’ll use the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to cleanse the skin as there won’t be any makeup on the skin to potentially clog the pores. Then I'll use the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Gentle Pads, especially if my skin is a little on the dry side.

Once I'm all cleansed, I'll then use the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater as this works like a toner. I've been using this for just over a month now and I couldn't be without it. It's really hydrating and has also helped to clear my skin. It's also perfect to use as well as a moisturiser so you don't use too much and get a greasy face, which again can cause breakouts.

I then use the Manuka Doctor Skin Serum with purified Bee venom which is really hydrating and cooling on the skin. It's works wonders on breakouts, impurity and dry skin and I'd describe it as like a drink of water to your face. To follow this step I apply one of my all time favourite moisturisers, which is the Garnier Moisture Bomb which is  gel cream and I find this to be less greasy than a lot of other moisturisers as it hydrates but almost feels as if you don't have anything on your skin.

Moving onto eyes I have recently been using the Nip + Fab No Needle Fix Eye cream, which is new to my skincare collection, but I have been really liking it. As I have quite dry skin around my eyes, I was looking for something very hydrating but would also help sort out my dark circles as well as stopping my under eyes getting more creases ... and this did not disappoint. I particularly recommend this eye cream as it's really well priced at £14.95, you get a decent sized pot and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

I then finish off my skincare routine with Palma's Perfecting Facial Oil and of course, some lip balm. The Palma's Facial Oil is really versatile as it can be used as a treatment for dry skin, as a primer or to help blend foundation/cream contour. I really recommend this and for just £9.99 it won't break the bank.

If my skin needs some more TLC, I will then decide to do a deeper overnight treatment which includes using the Nip + Fab Dragons Blood Hyaluronic Shot (which is basically a serum) and the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. The Hyaluronic Shot works extremely well as giving your skin a boost of moisture to banish any signs of dryness. I'm sure you've all heard me rave about the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion a lot on my blog, but this is one of the only products I haven't switched out in the routine, it just works a treat. I just apply this on any of my break outs before bed and by the morning it's either pretty much gone or is at least clearing up. I always used to use Toothpaste or Sudocrem but I always found that it would either sting too much, or I'd wake up with it all over my quilt and pillows ... but with the MB Drying Lotion it drys down so I don't have that problem.

So there you have it, My Evening Skincare Routine, I really hope you enjoyed this post!
