December Favourites.

I know I’m a tad late on this one, but I still wanted to share with you all the products that I was loving most throughout December!

My first fave is the Mario Badescu Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater Facial Spray. I’ve always been someone who cakes my face in moisturiser in the mornings and before bed, but it did cause me to break out quite a bit more than normal, so I bought this in hope to stop me breaking out. I use this as well as my moisturiser, as it hydrates my skin on it’s own, I only need to use a small amount of moisturiser, and I’ve noticed my skin clear up considerably in just a matter of weeks. The Spray costs just £11 for 8 fl oz and it can be used before makeup, as a setting spray, with your skincare, or to refresh your face throughout the day!!

Next up is the Sanctuary Spa White Lily & Damask Rose Body Wash, which I have been using on and off for years now, but over the past month or two I’ve been started to use it again. The scent is so refreshing, but it’s also quite strong, which works well because it clings to you for the whole day, in between showers, and you smell just as great when you get out the shower, as you do before you get in again the following day. I like to use this with the White Lily & Damask Rose Body Lotion, also from Sanctuary Spa, which just intensifies the incredible scent. This retails for just £6 and you get a fairly big bottle of it … I would really recommend this!!

The No7 Sponge has been in my makeup bag for a couple of months now, and I’ve been really liking the way it applies my makeup. I’ve noticed the sponge doesn’t soak up as much product as the Beauty Blender and other makeup sponges, so I don’t have to use a lot of foundation for a high coverage look. As you may have seen, I have previously reviewed the Dior makeup sponge on my blog, if you haven’t read that then you can click here. I will be doing a full review on this sponge soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

MAC Lipsticks are my all times faves, and this one doesn’t disappoint. This is the matte lipstick in the shade Kinda Sexy, it’s like a dark, pink-ish nude and is deffo one of my faves, along with Velvet Teddy, of course. Although they are quite pricey, at £16.50, they’re worth every penny as they’re super pigmented and last hours on the lips.

I’m sure you’ve all seen me talk about the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer countless times, but after a while of not using this concealer as much as normal, throughout December I became obsessed again!! I love how it’s just so creamy and easily to blend, has good coverage but also isn’t cakey, so it works as the perfect concealer for the under eyes as well as covering spots and impurities. This is deffo is one of the best concealers from the drugstore, in my opinion.

My last favourite from December is the Benefit Shy Beam which is a liquid highlighter. I’ve always had a love, hate relationship with liquid highlighters as I feel that they can remove any products that were underneath them, but this one doesn’t seem to do that. This is a pink highlighter that gives you a healthy rose-y glow, and it works best if used underneath a powder highlight, to bring out the pigment in it and give it something to stick to.
