Soft Glam Eye with Bold Lip Makeup Look || Collab

Hey everyone, today’s post is in collaboration with AlixKate. We’ve decided to collab again on a neutral eye-look with a bold lip and Alix is filming this for her youtube channel which you can watch here. We have actually collab'd before, so if you would like to read that post you can click here.

Alix’s Blog: www.alixkate.co.uk
Alix's Video: click here

So let’s start with how I created this look. I decided to primer with the MAC Fix+, as I wanted something light, hydrating and refreshing and I knew this would do exactly that. For foundation I used the Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation in F1 and mixed it with the EX1 Invisiwear Foundation to give myself a really glowy, lightweight yet full coverage look. The Revolution Stick Foundation itself doesn’t last that well on my skin so I mixed it with the EX1 one to keep it on the skin longer and also to help blend it out.

The MAC PRO LongWear Concealer has become the one that I find myself reaching for more and more and today was no exception. Although it’s a little full coverage and cakey, I find with using the slightest amount and blending it out with a damp beauty blender, that it takes a lot of the excess product away and if I set it properly by baking with the RCMA No Colour Powder that it looks really good and flawless. I then set my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

Because all the attention is going to be on the lip in this makeup look, I used the Hoola Lite Bronzer by Benefit to give a light bronze-y, summer glow and finished off the face with a mixture of the Dallas and the Dandelion Blush, both of those also by Benefit. I also baked underneath the bronzer to give a little bit of a contoured look and to make my cheekbones pop. To get rid of the powdery look to the skin, I then spritzed my face again with some Fix+.

Just a quick note to say all the shades used are marked on the picture above.

For the eyes I decided to use the Morphe 35K Palette, which I haven’t been reaching for as much since I bought the sophdoesnails palette, but I knew this palette would be perfect for this type of look. To start the look off I went over with the closest shade to my skin colour and blended that all over my crease, just to set the concealer to make the other shadows easier to blend. I then mixed Cloudberry, which is the orange shade from the sophdoesnails palette, with the warm nude shade in the Morphe palette and blended them into my crease and slightly down onto the lid. To deepen the crease, I then blended the brown shade on to the outer part of my crease. And there we have it, the most simple eye look. To finish off the eyes, I picked up the Rimmel Miss Baby Roll Mascara which gives really nice volume and curl to the lashes, without looking like spiders legs.

sophdoesnails X Revolution Palette Review click here.

My fave part is next and thats the brows. I still find myself reaching for the MAC Deep Dark Brunette Gelcreme and I haven't been able to find something that works better than this yet, so I imagine it'll be my go-to for much longer. I then set them in place with the Natural Collection Clear Mascara.

Lastly, to finish off the look, I decided to go with a lip colour that although it’s bold, it also screams summer and this is The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid in Cali Gerbera which is a bright coral-y, orange shade. I went with this lip colour because it’s quite bright and really summery and I know I’m going to be reaching for it a lot over the next couple of months.

So there we have it, the details of how I created this look. I really hope you enjoyed this post and don’t forget to check Alix’s Channel and Blog out!!

Superdrug Beauty Haul.

Hey everyone, so I’m back again with another haul because I still think I need to buy more makeup ahh. I went onto the Superdrug website for a body lotion and instead bought a few new makeup bits, completely forgetting about the body lotion. Anyway, if you would like to see what I picked up, then please keep reading.

The first item I picked up is the sophdoesnails lipstick in Cake, which is part of her new collab with Revolution. I’ve been wanting to try this lipstick since I saw that she was bringing out more makeup with Revolution and this lipstick looks like the perfect nude lip. Also, the packaging is so cute, well to be honest anything with a little bit of Rose Gold makes me want to buy it.

I decided to pick up another one of the Conceal & Define Concealers, also from Revolution, as I’m running out of my other ones. As I found that C1 (the lightest shade) can be a little pale for me and that C2 is good for highlighting, I thought I would pick up the shade down (C3) to use to cover up and of my blemishes and this seems to be the perfect shade for me. My full review on this concealer is here, I really couldn’t recommend this concealer enough.

The Revolution PRO Full Coverage Camouflage Foundation is another product that has been on my wishlist for a while now and it’s sounds like it should be everything that I want in a foundation. I have high hopes for this foundation and I am excited to get using it. I will be writing a full review on this foundation so, if you would like to hear my thoughts on this, then keep your eyes peel for that.

The last item that I picked up in this haul is the Barry M Flawless Original Primer. I used to use the Barry M Green Primer which I really liked, but I didn’t seem to repurchase this, I think this is because I have quite a few other primers which I’m trying to use up, but I thought as I was picking some other bits up that I would also get a primer. My skin seems to be looking good at the moment so the green primer isn’t really needed and this is why I picked up the original one, but I am hoping this works just as well.

So, they’re the items that I picked up in Superdrug, I’m looking forward to trying all of these products out and I hope you enjoyed reading about the items too.

Until Next Time,
Luci ♡♡

My Makeup Style || TAG.

Hey there, I’m back with another TAG post today as we all know how much I like doing them ah. This is the ‘My Makeup Style’ TAG, which will help you find out all about my makeup including the products I like using, the brands I love and how I got into makeup. So if you would like to read all about this, then please keep reading.

1. What kind of eye primer do you use and why? Liquid or Shadow Stick?

I use the Smashbox Under Eye Primer all over my lids and under my eyes as it’s really hydrating but it doesn’t give a cakey, thick look that some Concealers or eye shadow primers can. It does sink into the skin, but doesn’t go completely matter so I always set it with one of the closest shadows to my skin colour / tone, that is in the palette I’m using.

2. What colour eye shadow makes you feel bold and pretty at the same time?

Orange is deffo my go-to as it can look fairly natural with not much going on, but you can also make it super glam and it’s especially perfect for summer when you want a neutral colour without having to use Browns. The orange (Cloudberry) from the sophdoesnails revolution palette is deffo my favourite, from the ones I have tried so far.

3. What eye shadow colour do you least like to wear and why?

I’d say black because although it can look really nice and sultry, it doesn’t always go right and can look a little too much. I think I just need to practice doing black smokey eyes more to be honest so that I can get it right, but that’s probably my least favourite shadow colour because of that reason.

4. Do you wear Liquid or Pencil Eye Liner?

I don’t really wear liner that often, but black pencil liner has become something that I like to put on my water line. If I’m going for a super glam look and want to cover the lash band, then I’ll use a little bit of liquid liner but for not I’d say pencil. Please let me know if you have any liner recommendations, in the comments below.

5. Rimmel or Maybelline Mascara?

Deffo Rimmel, because although there are a couple of Maybelline mascaras that I like, a lot of my all time favourites are from Rimmel including the Miss Baby Roll, VML Feline and the Scandal-eyes ones.

6. If you could have your eyebrows permanently done or not wear any blush again, what would you choose?

I’m not really a big fan of blush to be honest, so I’d deffo have to have my brows done permanently because I don’t feel like my makeups finished when my brows aren’t done.

7. Who taught you to do makeup?

I’m pretty much self taught, other than what I’ve learned through watching YouTube tutorials. However, I studied Makeup Artistry at college in order to improve my skills and potentially go onto to be an MUA.

8. Are you a fan of cream products e.g. blush, concealer or contour etc and why?

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that cream products just doing really work with my skin, I’m not sure why but sometimes it’s just too full coverage and too cakey or some cream products, especially blushes, just don’t really blend that well which doesn’t look good.

9. When did you start getting into makeup and what was the first product / brand you used?

I've always loved the idea of makeup from a very young age, probably like 6/7 as I was always drawn towards colour. Obviously, I started out with kids makeup like lip gloss and stuff, but at the end of middle school, at like 11 I was allowed to buy some tinted moisturiser, mascara and blusher and they were all from Natural Collection. I remember feeling soo grown up and as soon as I was allowed to get a full on eye shadow palette I was in my element, with my awful blue eye shadow looks haha!!

10. Setting spray, do you believe in it? Which is your holy grail?

I don't necessarily think that setting sprays works, as I use primer anyway so they could be working well together, or one of them could be working and the other one not, but I think setting sprays are really refreshing and hydrating and they also take the powdery look away from the skin so I couldn't not use it. To be honest, I've only actually used a few setting sprays and I think my fave would be the Skindinavia, even though I haven't restocked on it in such a long time.

Please let me know what your answers would be, in the comments below because I'd love to know!!

Until Next Time,

June Favourites!

For today’s post I will be sharing my favourites for the month of June. I did take a break from Favourites posts for May as I was using the same products as the month before, but throughout June I came across lots of new products that I have been really enjoying using. So, let’s get into it.

My first favourite was actually an old favourite which I recently got my hands on again and this is the Victoria’s Secret Body Spray in Such a Flirt. I believe this spray has been discontinued as I wasn’t able to find it in store at VS, in Superdrug or anywhere else online other than eBay ... but don’t quote me on that because they could just be sold out.

Next up is the Neutrogena Hydraboost Eye Cream, which I picked up a few weeks ago. Recently, I’ve been getting quite a dry eyelid and under eye area but only on one eye. I was using lots of different creams, oils and serums but nothing seemed to help it really so I thought I should try a water based eye gel as the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturiser has really helped my skin before. I notified that even after a few uses, my eye area was a whole lot more hydrated and smooth and after a few days the dryness was gone completely. I really don’t think you need to spend a lot of money on eye creams to get a good quality one and this one really proves that as it retails at just £10.39 which I’d say is midway between drugstore and high end skincare and I think it’s so worth it. If you have any dupes for this or other eye creams that you think I should try, then please let me know in the comment below!!

My next favourite is the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I didn’t actually like this at first because I found that it was too full coverage and cakey, however over the past month or so I’ve found myself reaching for it more and more. I use the tiniest bit, as it goes a long way, and blend it out with a damp beauty blender, so that it takes away any excess product. Also, baking it has helped smooth it out and set it better so that it stays in place and doesn’t budge through out the day. It is a little expensive at £18.50, but it’s currently on sale at Debenhams and it’s linked here.

The NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes has been part of my everyday makeup routine throughout June and I’ve been really liking the way it looks. It’s like a pale, orangey nude which gives me that summer feeling but also still looks neutral and is a perfect nude for this time of year. I really recommend these lip creams as they are really well priced, smooth not drying, last all day through meals and drinks and they do a number of different colours.

The last favourite of mine for this month is the Ben & Anna UK Vegan Deodorant Stick in Pink Grapefruit. I’ve only been using this for a few weeks but I have really been liking it and the scent of it lasts all day which makes you smell really good. This fruit scent is perfect for summer and I really recommend them. If you would like to read my full review on this then you can click here.

Ben & Anna UK Vegan Deodorant Stick | Review!

I'm very excited to be writing today's blog post, as I will be reviewing a Vegan Deodorant Stick by Ben & Anna. Ben & Anna are a real life couple and have recently released their brand in the UK after being launched in Germany around 2 years ago, in June 2016. B&A are a strictly vegan, organic brand and their products are aluminium and paraben free.

Recently, I have been looking closely into trying to use more products that aren't testing on animals or using animal products and swapping out those that are. I was kindly sent this Deodorant Stick from Claire, who is the Marketing Assistant at Ben & Anna and I will be sharing my thoughts on this with you all!

I really like the packaging of these sticks, although they are quite minimalistic, they have white packaging, with the stickers that correspond to the scent of each stick and they even have an unscented stick called 'Pure' so this would be perfect for those that have sensitive skin. Ben & Anna  have also recently launched the Natural Deodorant Sticks with paper packaging, in the UK, which I the one I have here and they're working towards cutting down plastic waste.

The Full Range includes:

  • PURE
  • PINK GRAPEFRUIT
  • INDIAN MANDARINE
  • PERSIAN LIME
  • VANILLA ORCHID
  • PROVENCE
  • NORDIC TIMBER
These sticks retail at £9.95 each and you get 60g worth of product. These sticks are a little more pricey that your average deodorant, but I think the fact they're vegan, the way the work, the scents they offer and the story behind their brand, that it is worth it and that I would be happy to spend that little bit extra on an independent company with such great branding, packaging and story.

You can read their story here!!

I decided that the Pink Grapefruit Stick would be best for me as 1. I love fruity scents, especially during the summer time and 2. when it's described like this on the website:

'A slice of heaven with a sparkling smell that makes you feel good. The extracted grapefruitunfolds as the deodorant is applied to the skin.Anna has a particular affinity for this amazingfragrance combination and will be quick to tellyou that this is a must have for your next holiday trip.'

I knew it would be perfect for me. I have very sensitive under arms and a lot of deodorants can be quite itchy on me, however this one seems to be very comfortable. The benefits of this stick include it's soft on the skin, neutralizes any odour, it's not sticky and it even says on the website that they don't clog the pores on the underarm area. I also noticed that this does stay on all day, I could still smell the scent after a long, hot day and it still smelled very nice, so this is another plus for me.

The Ingredients Include:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter*, Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder*, Zea Mays Starch, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil*, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Helianthus Annuus Seed Cera, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Shorea Robusta Resin, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera, Citrus Grandis Peel Extract, Limonene**, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Rhus Succedanea Fruit Cera, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil*, Citral**, Linalool**, Daucus Carota Sativa Root Extract*, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract* (source here)

Overall, I am very happy with these deodorant sticks particularly because they're vegan, they don't make my under arms itchy and they also have some really greats scents so I'm sure everyone will be able to find one they love.

Until Next Time,
Luci ♡♡

How To Cope With Writers Block!

I'm sure we've all been through those times where we are struggling for post ideas or have no motivation or inspiration in order to get writing. So, for today's post, I thought I would share a few tips of how to cope with writers block.  There are only a few of the tips either that I use or that I think would be good to use and I hope they help you!!

1. Plan your content in advance:

I like to plan out what I’m going to upload and when weeks, if not months, before its due to go live. To put it in perspective, I have already started planing Septembers posts, with July and August fully planned. That way, if I come up with other ideas or sponsored posts / collabs come up, I can then shuffle them around and be even more ahead of schedule and I won’t be getting as stressed haha!

2. Arrange Collabs or contact Brands for Sponsored Posts:

If you're really stuck for ideas maybe try contacting some other bloggers or tweeting out to see if other bloggers want to collab with you and they may have some ideas on what you both could do or you could bounce ideas off of each other. You could even contact some brands and see if they would like to work with you one a new post and they may have some ideas of how you can work together.

3. Quick Fire Ideas:

Set yourself a challenge in order to come up with some post ideas. E.g. set a timer for X amount of time and try and come up with X amount of posts in that time. This has helped me a lot with, not only keeping up to date with uploading posts, but also writing a number of them in advance and scheduling them.

4. Check our other blogs or Bloglovin:

Reading other blogs can really help to give you some inspiration when it comes to writing. Obviously, I’m in no way saying that you should copy them, but if you see a good post idea then you can put your own spin on it or even give that blog a shout-out in order to give them credit for the idea/post. Bloglovin’ also helps a lot as it brings many bloggers content to the same place, again to give yourself ideas from the people you follow, or you can search to find posts that fit your niche i.e. Fashion.

A lot of other bloggers should also have 'Blog Post Idea' posts which will give you a number of different post ideas, some may even be for particular times of the year e.g. Christmas.

My Blog Post Idea Posts:

Christmas: (click here)
Spring / Summer: (click here)
General Ideas: (click here)

5. Look at your Blog Statistics:

If you look at your blog statistics you will be able to see which of your posts has been most popular or what topics are most popular, whether they’re related to Beauty, Fashion or Lifestyle etc. And then you'll be able to see what your readers/followers like to read and that may help you out.

6. Take a Break:

If you're really struggling for ideas, you can't find the words to start writing a post or you feel like you're forcing content, then maybe it's time to take a break. Your readers/followers will still be there for you when you start uploading again, but I feel like you should absolutely love and be proud of every single post you put out there, instead of uploading half-hearted content just because you have a schedule to stick to. Obviously, there will be posts you love more than others, or posts that you find that you spend more time on to make it perfect but personally, I'd rather upload every now and then with some really good, original content that I love, rather than uploading very often but average content that I know I've rushed.

There you have it, some of my tips of how to cope with writers block. I really hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you next time!!

Until Next Time,

My Makeup Collection Part 7 | Foundations and Primers.

So we’re edging closer to finishing my Makeup Collection Series and today I’ll be sharing my Foundations & Primers with you all. My collection of Foundations & Primers aren’t too big
as I’ve recently had a clear out, but the ones I will share with you have been part of my collection for a long while now and I love using them all for different reasons.

So, firstly primers. Up until a couple of years ago, primers weren’t really something I would as I didn’t really believe in them ... tbh I still don’t know if I do ... but I like to use a glowy one to give a more highlighted and glowy look to my skin before applying the rest of my makeup.

The L’Oreal LumiMagique has been my go-to for quite a while now and I’m sure you’ve all seen me talk about this a lot on my blog, especially recently. It’s such a perfect dupe. for the MAC Strobe cream, which is my absolute ride or die, so the fact that I’ve kind something for almost a 3rd of the price, makes it the perfect primer for me.

The next, and only other full size, primer that I have is the Revolution Radiant Peach Correcting Primer and it's been working really well with my skin. The first time that I was trying it and squeezed it on my hand, it came out like an orange paint and I was kinda of put off by first impressions, but after I applied it to my face  it actually gave me a subtle summer glow and not look like an Oompah Loompa like I thought it would.

I do have other primers but these are all mini samples, but I still love using them nonetheless. These minis include MAC Strobe Cream, MAC Skin Base Visage and the Pink and the Yellow MAC Prep & Prime Natural Radiance. As well as the Pur Cosmetics Correcting Primer and the Smashbox Photo Finish.

My first foundation is my one and only stick foundation, which I am really loving using at the moment. Again, stick foundations were never something I would decide to pick up and try out as cream products don’t really suit my skin, but this is on another level. This foundation has really good coverage, blends really nicely without being cakey and they have a really good shade range. I did film a review of this foundation on my YouTube channel which you can watch (here).

Next up, are the LA Girl Pro Coverage HD Long Wear Illuminating Liquid Foundation ... longest name ever ... and I have 2 of these. One in the shade Fair and one in Natural. This foundation has really good coverage, gives a glowy finish (which I love) and it doesn’t give that cakey look. The only issue I have with this foundation is the shade range as Fair, which is the lightest shade, still has an orangey colour to it and it also oxidizes slightly. I  use the NYX White Foundation Mixer to lighten the foundation and it has been working for me. I do think that, if the foundation was to match me, I think it would deffo be one of my favourites. However,  they do have 15 shades and a white mixer and costs only £10 so I think that they pro's out ways the cons. If you would like to read my full review you can (click here).

The Rimmel Breathable and the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum have been my longest loving Favourites when it comes to foundation as they just suit my skin perfectly. From the shade, to the glowy finish, the lightweight but decent coverage and the price. If you’re new to makeup or are looking for a good foundation that also has a good price tag, then this one will be right up your street. Also if you’re a little pale, like me and you want something that isn’t going to oxidise or give that orangey look, these are perfect for that.

Before finally decided to pick this one up, the Revlon colourstay had been on my wish-list for years, after being raved about within the beauty community on YouTube/Blogs. If you would like to read my full thoughts on this foundation then you can click here!

Last but not least, I have the EX1 Invisiwear Foundation which isn’t my favourite, but I do really like it. The actual foundation is really long wearing and has good coverage but the cons are that I have the lightest shade (F100) but is really dark and orangey and it’s quite thick. However, I do think that if it was a little lighter I would like it more. Also, I like to mix this with a lighter foundation, like the Bourjois one, to thin it out and make it more yellow toned and it actually works well then.

I hope you enjoyed this post and reading about my Foundation collection. Please let me know any foundations you have or are keen to try in the comments below and I’ll see you soon for the next part of my makeup collection series!

THE BLOGGER PLAYLIST FOR ALL THE SUMMER VIBES.

For today's post, I thought I would do something a little bit different and get a few other bloggers to join in too, to share the songs that give us all the summer vibes.

Before I get onto sharing the girls favourite summer songs, I’ll start by sharing mine and why they give me them summer feels.

Let’s start with one that’s probably quite obvious and that’s Summer by Calvin Harris. This one is so
up beat and its sub a vibe-y song to drive to when it’s really hot out.

One Kiss by Dua Lipa has been on replay since it came out a few months ago and I know that it will continue to be throughout the Summer. Again it’s so up beat and it’s a song that just makes you want to get up and dance.

Colours, Jason Derulo is my next favourite and I've had it blasting out for the past few weeks and I will do throughout the summer. It's all about representing your Country and your Flag ... and it's the Coca-cola anthem for the World Cup, so it's the perfect time to be playing it.

Girls Like by Tinie Tempah, was one of my favourite songs a few summers ago and it just reminds me of hanging out with friends and pretending we could all wrap haha!

Better Now by Post Malone. Post Malone has been one of my favourite artists for almost a year now and every single song he brings out is a bit of me and this is no exception. Again, it's a fast and up beat song that just makes you want to get up and dance ... it also would be the perfect song to be singing along to at a concert or festival.

Nobody To Love by Sigma is an oldie but a goodie and is that type of song that takes me back being at school and hanging out with friends over the summer ... this song would be on repeat and rightly so because I still jam this out now!!

Last but not least is 2002 by Anne Marie from the Speak your Mind Album, which again is a fairly new song that has been on replay since I first heard it. With the line 'Oops I got 99 problems singing bye, bye, bye, hold up if you wanna come and take a ride with me, better hit me baby one more time', she's included parts of the lyrics from the likes of Nelly, Backstreet Boys, Jay Z and Brittney Spears. It's just the perfect cheesy, old school, love song, and I am loving it.

Industry Me: www.industryme.co.uk

Flower crowns and glitter at the ready, festival season is here and summer has finally arrived. Allow me to introduce myself, it’s your girl Ray from IndustryMe here to dazzle you all with my knowledge of the summer hits you have to include on your playlist.

You’ll definitely need your sunscreen after the scorching heat delivered by the likes of One Acen who brings you hip hop vibes an urban edge and a dash of Caribbean flavour. The singer has teamed up with WSTRN to bring you the song ‘Vice Versa'.

In at #2 with awesome alt-rock inspired throwback vibes is OCNS with their new single ‘You’. This feel good number is bound to have you leaping off the walls with positive energy.

Malibu - Miley Cryus
Power - Little Mix
Teenage Dirtbag - WheatUs
Mr Brightside - The Killers
Sorry Not Sorry - Demi Lovato
Familiar - Liam Payne
Rockstar - Post Malone & 21 Savage
Crying In The Club - Camilla Cabello
Where is the Love - Black Eyed Peas

I love all of these songs, because they have the upbeat music that makes everyone want to dance barefoot and drink cocktails all afternoon. Old songs are my favourite, but I defiantly need something with a beat.

Came here for love- I love this song because it’s so upbeat and reminds me of Love Island which I love hahah!

Ocean by Martin Garrix- reminds me of being on the beach with my friends and family having a BBQ in summer 2017.

Malibu by Miles Cyrus - reminds me of chilling with my dog in the sun.

Thankyou so much to the girls that took part in this post, it was so nice to see how differently each blogger writes and sets out their posts. I hope you all enjoyed reading something a little bit different from me! Also don't forget to check out each of the girls links and I'll see you Saturday with a new post!!

My 5 Product Face.

For today’s post I wanted to do something that I hadn’t done before, which is My 5 Product Face. I’ve seen soo many of these posts and I love reading them, so I thought why not share mine with you!

Ok, so let’s start with the base, when I’m trying to go for more natural and quick makeup, I like a foundation that is lightweight but also has a decent amount of cover and something that matches me perfectly. This is why I reach for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation in the shade no.52. The Bourjois foundations are really yellow toned and work perfectly to cancel out any redness on my skin, due to spots. This foundation is also super easy to blend, whether that be with a sponge or a brush, they both apply it very well. Because this foundation gives quite a natural finish I don’t usually need to set it as my bronzer does the job due to me applying it to my cheekbones, down my nose and on my forehead but if I find that it’s creasing I would usually just take a little bit of the RCMA no colour powder.

I’ll then use a bronzer just to warm up the face and to give the impression that I’ve actually tried with my makeup haha. I usually use the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, which is my all time favourite. This is such a smooth and easy to blend bronzer, which will suit many skin tones including us pale gals, without looking like an orange stream on your face.

Brows have always been my favourite part to my makeup routine and even when I want to look more natural, I still like to have my bold brows. I use the MAC Gelcreme in Deep Dark Brunette, which I find perfect because I’m able to use a little bit to just give the brows more shape or you can build up the product to get the big, bold look which I love.

Next up is Mascara and I use the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Feline one. I usually skip eye shadow completely, however, I may blend some bronzer through the crease to bring the makeup look together. I love mascaras that really lift the lashes and give them a nice curl, without having the use lash curlers, and this one does the job perfectly. I couldn't recommend it you all enough!!

Last but not least is the lips, because no look is complete without a lil summin summin on the lips. I've really been liking Mehr by MAC recently, as it's a little more pink than the usual nudes I use and it's much nicer for this time of year.

*SHOP THIS POST*

And there we have it, my 5 product face. I'd love to hear the products you use in your 5 product face in the comments below.

sophdoesnails x Revolution Eye Shadow Palette | Review + Look!

Welcome to today's post, where I will be reviewing the Soph x Revolution  Eye Shadow Palette. You’ve probably seen me talk about the Soph palette quite a lot on my blog or over on my YouTube channel, so I thought now that I’ve been using it for a while, I’d do a full review on it, in case you were thinking about trying it out or wanted to know what it's like.

Firstly, let’s talk about how incredibly versatile this palette is and how you can create lots of different looks, whether that be a neutral smokey eye or something with a pop of colour. There’s a perfect balance between matte shades and shimmery shades and this makes it perfect for all different types of looks and also for travelling. Its a good palette to travel with as the packaging isn’t too bulky or big and it has 24 shadows ... all for only £10. Although the packaging is quite minimalist, it's also quite different to the sleek black packaging which you usually see with some of the other Revolution palettes and also a lot of other brands too!

These shadows are extremely smooth, pigmented and they blend really easily. I find that with some eye shadows, that the brush has a hard time picking up the product but with this one there is no issue. With one tap in the shadow you have more than enough to work with, but you can also build each shade up or you can use the slightest amount for a more sheer colour on the lid.

Here are some of the looks that I created using this palette:

These are a couple of the look that I created with this palette, one is more natural and the others is more glam. I think both these pictures show just how versatile this palette is and that it's perfect for anyone who likes a more neutral look or really likes to play about with different looks. It's also really good for someone who wants build up their collection and it's deffo an asset to my makeup collection. I couldn't recommend this enough.

Soph has also collabed with Revolution again to bring out another eye shadow palette and 3 lipsticks, so I'm very exited to get hold of these as they look incredible and they're right up my street!!

Overall, I am very happy with this palette, it comes with me everywhere and it's now become my go-to ... I just can't put it down to use one of my other palettes. If you haven't already tried out this one or any other Revolution products, I deffo cannot recommend them enough, the packaging, the quality, the shade range in the Foundations / Concealers etc etc ... what's not to love?!
