Drugstore Haul! (Boots)

Another haul?! Well can you blame me? I decided to treat my self to some of the beauty bits that I've had my eye on ages now! You may be seeing some of the products in future posts as well.

No7 Flawless Finish Blending Sponge  (click here) + Real Techniques Miracle Finish Sponge -

I've been wanting to try out new makeup sponges for ages now, but I'm soo picky about them that I was holding off. I've loved the Beauty Blender for years, they just make your makeup look so good, but with these two sponges, I think I've found a cheaper alternative. I will be reviewing these sponges on the blog over the next couple of months, so make sure you keep an eye out if you want to hear all my thoughts on them!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer -

The next item I picked up was the Maybelline Fit Me Conealer. I've had this on my wishlist for ages but I just kept alternating between my trust Collection Lasting Perfection and the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer, but this time I decided to give it ago. I must say that I have really been liking this, it has really good coverage, it's super easy to blend out seamlessly and it's also cheap as well ... so it's a win, win!! The only downfall is that this only comes in 3 shades (light, medium and dark) and the lightest shade matches my foundation shade, which is Ivory, so it isn't good for highlighting under the eyes for my skin tone!

Bourjois Healthy  Mix Serum Foundation -

If you've read my post about my favourite drugstore foundations, you would have seen that I love the normal Healthy Mix foundation, but this time I decided to pick up the Healthy Mix Serum and try it out. My first impressions of this foundation are fairly good, it gives a really natural finish with a healthy glow and it's perfect for everyday. I would say that the shades seem to be slightly different (I don't know if they actually are but it seems that way) but I picked up the lightest shade, which I use in the regular foundation, and it just seems too light, so I may have to go back and grab a darker shade!

Collection Velvet Kiss Lip Cream in Rosie -

I didn't go into the shop to pick this up, but once I'd seen it, I just couldn't put it back. The shade is so perfect for this time of year and it will also be really easy to darken it, or make it more plum with a lip liner, to make it look more vampy and autumnal. I really like the finish to this lip cream as it looks matte, but it doesn't dry the lips out and it also almost stains the lips so it stays on all day without needing a top up. Also it's only £2.99 ... it's just EVERYTHING!!

Natural Collection Brow Tidy -

This brow tidy is one of Natural Collections' new products and I wanted to try this out as I find it hard to find products that actually set my brows in place all day, from the drugstore. It's a wax-y consistency and it literally glues your brows in place and it also works as a primer too, to make sure the product doesn't move or smudge either.

Natural Collection Mascara + Foundation -

I also decided to pick up a Mascara and a Foundation from Natural Collection, as it was on 3 for 2, so that I could try them out. I haven't tried the foundation but I've been really liking the mascara as it has a big, thick wand that makes the lashes look thick and curled ... I would really recommend!!

Revolution Obsession Solid Brush Cleaner (click here)-

Before I purchased this, I hadn't heard of it before, but as I've been waiting to stock up on the Beauty Blender Cleaner I thought I would pick it up and see if it was any good. I've used this a few times and it works really well ... it also cleans each brush/sponge in a matter of seconds. This is definitely just as good as the Beauty Blender one and it's like half the price, but you get like twice the amount of product, as well as being on 3 for 2 at the moment, so I might have to pick up a few more!

Collection Instant Brow Pomade -

The next item I picked up is the Collection Brow Pomade and I wanted to try this to see if it was as good as the MAC Gel Creme or other gels/pomades I have used. This was £3.99 and I like that it has just the right amount of pigment to not look like sharpie brows and also that it's waterproof, however, it is a little bit shimmery which doesn't look the best on the brows - I have only used this 2 or 3 times, so this may grow on me!!

Collection SPF 15 Lip Colour in Fudge Delight -

I then picked up this Lip Colour by Collection - as my lips get quite dry throughout the winter, I wanted to pick up a lip balm, but when  I came across this and swatched it, I was surprised at how pigmented it was, as well as hydrating ... it's just right up my street!!

Boots Double Sided Face Sponge -

The last item I decided to pick up was the Boots Double Sided Face Sponge. I'm always on the look out for new makeup sponges and to find the best one, but for the least amount of money. This one was only £3, but I hope that this is good!! I will be doing a review on this sponge soon to carry on my series ... so make sure you keep your eyes peeled!
