Face Of The Day | Neutral No Makeup, Makeup Look!

When doing my makeup today, I wanted to create a natural (well natural for me anyway) no makeup, makeup look. Something that wouldn't take me long but so I'd still look representable and be confident.

(if you would like to see how I prep my skin for makeup, then please let me know in the comments below!)

After prepping my face, I then primed my skin with the Pür Cosmetics Correcting Primer and MAC's Strobe Cream on the high points of my face. I have really been liking these two as one corrects the redness on my face and the other makes my skin super glowy. I like to use a glowy primer as I bake my skin which means I don't get the dewy glow naturally.

Moving on to the skin, I took the EX1 Invisiwear Foundation in the shade F100 which has a medium, but buildable, coverage and is so easy to blend. To conceal I used the NYX HD Concealer in the shade Porcelain, which I have been using recently mainly to use it up. I'm not the biggest fan of the concealer, only because the shade range isn't wide enough, porcelain isn't any wear near light enough for me to highlight my under eyes and I'm not actually that pale.  Although, the shade range isn't that good, the coverage and wear is very good, it's easy to blend and it doesn't crease. I could see this rivaling the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer if they just made more shades.

To set my concealer I then baked with my trusty RCMA no colour powder which I have been using all the time since I mentioned it in my May Favourites. (click here) I have been loving this powder because it doesn't dry out your under eyes, it doesn't change the colour and it doesn't cake up around the eye. To set the rest of my face I used the Rimmel Clear Complexion Pressed Powder.

Today I bronzed with the W7 Honolulu Bronzer, which is a great dupe for Benefits Hoola, however it is slightly darker! I wanted to have a bit of a glow today so I decided to use Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso on the apples of my cheeks and then went over that with an eyeshadow from Lipsy which came in this set (here)!

For my eyes I took the Honolulu Bronzer again and put that through my crease to tie the look together and I then put on the L'Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara which could potentially be one of my favourite drugstore mascaras at the moment. I followed my brow routine when filling in my brows which you can check out (here) if you want to. I used the MAC Brow Gelcreme in the shade Deep Dark Brunette and then set them with the Natural Collection Dark Brown Brow Gel.

Lastly, to finish off my makeup, I decided on a trusty nude and this one is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Athens.

The final look!

Until next time,
