My Brow Routine! | Collab

This post is in collaboration with the lovely Beth from bethhillsite.wordpress.com.

My brows have been something that I’ve been trying to get right for a long time and I finally feel like I can achieve the perfect brows to suit my face using these products, so I thought I would share my Brow Routine with you all, even though it is really easy … even for beginners!

Everyone has their own preferences for their brows, whether you like them more natural looking or full on bold brows, and the products I use are able to achieve both of these looks. I have noticed that I go for more of the natural, faded brows now, rather than square ones and although my brows don’t look natural by any means I feel like they don’t look as harsh on my face now.

After brushing my brows into place with a spoolie, I start off with the MAC Fluidline Gelcreme in the shade Deep Dark Brunette and use this on the outer 2/3’s of my brow. I like to only use this on the outer part of my brows so it doesn’t look so harsh. I then the spoolie again to brush it out to make sure the gel is spread evenly through out the tail of my brow.

I then go in with the Goof Proof Brow Pencil by Benefit in shade 4 and do light, hairlike strokes on the front of my brow. I like to keep the front of my brows a lot more natural  with barely any product so don’t look too think and dark.

After I’ve finished filling in my brows, I then take some brow gel to set them into place. Just like with filling in my brows, I like to take two different gels to set them … again to keep them more natural looking. I use the Natural Collection Clear Mascara to set the front and the Natural Collection Brow Gel in Dark Brown to set the tails of my brows.

I like to do my brows first so then I can carve them out with a concealer to really make them stand out. I would usually use quite a thick concealer, whether it’s a cream or a liquid they both work well. I have been using the LA Girl PRO Concealer lately in the shade Porcelain.

And so that’s my brow routine. I really hope you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to check out Beth’s post and I will see you soon with a new post.
