What's In My Everyday Makeup Bag?

This makeup bag is from Zoella's Beauty Range, I really like this particularly because of the size. It's not huge, yet it fits absolutely everything I have listed with still lots of room left!

My favourite way to apply my makeup has to  be with a beauty blender, it just seems to be the only thing that works with my skin. I have combination skin, with  VERY dry t-zone and VERY oily around the outside of my face so the fact it's damp keeps my skin hydrated and then I just bake my oily areas to mattify them.

This moisturiser from Nip+Fab is their 'Teen Skin Zero Shine' one which has mattifying powders in it to stop oilyness. I put this on my oily area's so that I can start my makeup routine with all my face being dry so that I don't have to use different foundations and things to suit each type of skin. SPF is one of the most important steps to my everyday makeup because well who wants wrinkles eh? This is the MAC SPF 50 Face Protect Lotion, in the travel size, which I've been trying out and is longer than I expecting.

The next step is to prime, I use the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer. I love using this because it gives me that dewy looking base back that I had to mattify which makes me look alive again haha! I would say that this is a good dupe for the MAC Strobe Cream!

This foundation has to be my favourite for everyday because it's got really good coverage but is also really light on the skin and doesn't really feel like you're wearing foundation. It also has a mix of Vitamins to cover tiredness. I have this in the lightest shade (51) but I still find it that little dark (yes I am really pale hah) so I mix it with the NY white foundation mixer.

Next up, I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the lightest shade to highlight the high points of my face. I find it hard to find a highlighting concealer that is light enough, especially drugstore concealers, however, this one works really well and has good coverage too!

Setting your base is really important, however, you don't have to spend a lot to get a good one. This pressed powder from Natural Collection (Shade Cool) is only £1.99 and it works perfectly well, without having that orangy tone like some so called 'translucent' powders. I use the Lottie London Translucent Loose Powder to bake my under-eyes, and also my chin and temples which is where I get oily. I really like this Loose Powder because it doesn't cake up your under-eyes and it's truly translucent.

This butter bronzer from Physicians Formula (Shade Light Bronzer) is another one of my favourite everyday products because it's not got a matte finish (its's not shimmery) as it has Murumuru Butter in it to keep your skin hydrated and smells amazing too! It's said to be a mix between a creama and powder bronzer to melt into the skin. If you're in the UK you can buy this from

Next up is Blush & Highlight and this has to be my favourite combo at the moment which is the Cindy-Lou Manizer from The Balm and the NYX Ritualistic Highlighter. They're both so pigmented and leave you looking glowy. Cindy-Lou is also a shimmery blush, which I love in the Spring/Summer.

This mascara is still quite new to my collection but it really does the job. The want is curved so it really pushes your lashes up and it makes them look lifted without the need of a curler.

Along with the base, my brows are the next most important thing for me when it comes to doing my makeup. I spend so much time trying to make sure they don't look like sharpie brows, but when I found this Sleek Brow Kit (Shade Medium) it really helped me out. I only use the wax out of this kit, but although it's pigmented and a little goes a long way, it's not too pigmented so it doesn't look to dark and full. It also lasts so long as well with me using it everyday and almost a year on I still have around half left. This brow gel is from Natural Collection and this really helps to finish the brows off and brush out any extra product. I really like the way these two products look together!

The last, but my favourite, bit to do is LIPS. I use MAC Velvet Teddy as this is a really nice browny nude which, I feel, looks good with any skin tone. I have used this everyday for just over a year and there is still a lot left. Sometime I pair this with the MAC Boldy Bear Lip Pencil which also looks fab with it!
